Hi Gang! Been a beauty of a day here. Walked three miles this morning and will do another two tonight after dinner. I actually am wearing shorts today and they are loose! Still got more weight to go, but it is starting to pay off now.

Tribs, great to see you on the other side, thanks for the daily reports, look forward to them! I got a new wetsuit that I can't wait to tryout in August.

I did clean the cam, but you really can't tell can you? That cam is interesting. It has a bunch of different lights that I thought were signaling the captures, but I guess not. I did a lot of goofy stuff - peace sign, double OK, etc....but I guess I did not hold it long enough. I will visit it again before I leave. Kobi...can you email me your captures?

Debbie...come down now! I need someone to play with. Wes doesn't arrive until June 25.

Hee, Hee, Judy! It was new guinea hens, pretty bold ones too. Hubby is going to join me tonight, so maybe they will like him more than me. He started walking last night, he also went on a diet this past Monday and lost over 6 pounds like that!! Not fair, I have to do so much more to lose that much.

Hi Debbie! Still haven't made it to LaDania's leap. I found Something Special compliments of Ellen. There is a wonderful dive master who lives right by there. He is very friendly and a really good guy. Come on down and I will be happy to show you the entry. It only took me 5 trips to find it. LOL!

We just emptied out the store downtown, now to unpack the Blazer, van and the truck...all into the house!!!!! Oh, what have I done???? Well, it'll look very Caribbean in my house now!!

So I had a strange (scary) dive. I'm diving with a new mask. My old one was white/clear. This one is black. I don't see as much coming at me so a few things have given me a fright (horse eyed jack, bar jack, etc...). I head out to Bachelor's Beach for the last dive of the day and I am cruising along at about 35 feet minding my own business. I'm looking up the reef, looking down the reef, just very slowly kicking along. Then WHAMO! Out pops a green moray at eye level! HOLY COW! It was in one of those Grimace looking coral heads (don't know the name...sorry). I was beyond startled. Up I went and hovered over the coral head for a while. The moray was getting cleaned and seemed to ignore everyone but me and trumpet fish. He would lunge out at any trumpet fish that went by. Pretty funny. So I am over my little fright and I head off down the reef again. Then cruising directly at me comes this huge silver thing - I think oh cool a tarpon! NOT!!!! The one thing that terrifies me, even the little guys, and this was the biggest one I had ever seen and it was between me and the reef. A HUGE barracuda. This was the first time I cried under water. Instantaneous reaction is the only explanation. I immediately thought, he is bigger than me and I have him pinned to the reef - this won't turn out well. Thankfully he kept on cruising. That was my exciting dive.

PS....find you some places that will let you put your paintings up and sell them on consignment don't give up.. this time may not have worked but, you'll figure out something...just don't give up on the dream.

I'm not a'scared of no cudas. But, Tribs, I feel for ya! A long time ago in Key Largo, we had Maria with us, and a HUGE stalking barracuda, who was right on her heels. She was taking pics, and was oblivious to this cuda bigger than her, right on her. I very calmly got her to turn around and see the cuda at her heels. She was cool, with big eyes, and took his pic. lol

Over Angel City I saw the biggest cuda ever in my life. I thought of it as a sentry, a cop, a protector. I had pics of it, lost in the invasion.

Today we bought a new laptop. We're making plans that no matter what, we'll never lose pics again. Several safeguards, this time.

OH and we saw Indiana Jones today. You have to go see it, it is unlike the rest, though there are plenty of scenes like the old (like people fighting and never getting a scratch!), but it's true to the end.

Nite nite everyone. Short week for me, as we're heading out maybe Wed afternoon, but most definitely early Thursday - gotta decide, to Lauderdale by the Sea. Can't wait. I'm dreaming of reefs, turquoise water, and colorful fish. (turtles, tarpon, sharks, etc.)

Sleep tight everyone! I just got back from having chocolate coffees with Bette and her family. They are SOOOOOOO nice!!!! I took a picture of her little boy, but will wait for permission to post. He is such a cutie! He got so excited when big fish swam by the pier. I loved watching his excitement. Ok....now I have to try and sleep after all of that coffee. LOL! See ya'll in the morning!
