Cyn, we're going to Ft. Lauderdale, our "house reef", for a long weekend, and may end up in Key Largo on Saturday for one 2 tank dive, but drive back to Lauderdale - it's a short drive. Depends.

Funny, there are these guys that work in Alcohol,Tobacco and Firearms (heh) that I talk to on elevators, that have a conference in Ft. Lauderdale next week, and 2 are divers. They want to meet up. I can see Larry's reaction to that, but it should be OK, I like showing people where we dive, and they've never dived? dove? there.

I called the receptionist's husband, and he's coming over tomorrow to rig me up a mister for the lanai for cheap. Can't wait. We really need it.

We just watched the shuttle take off over our horizon. We could see the vapor trail and the fire from the burn. I never stop being excited when they go off.

I couldn't donate blood - again - low iron. Seems I'll never reach my 2 gallon mark.

Been working most of the day, had some big boomers, heavy rain a while ago, power off and on, then hubby liked my wetsuit so much, we went out and he got one for himself too! Stopped and got some fresh fish and salad and he is making dinner for us now! What a guy. Have to go to work again after dinner, but not a lot, will have tomorrow off. Yeah!

I didn't even see it because I was on the phone. Did see the Bloodmobile at WalMart today, but I learned my lesson. I just can't give unless I bring my own needle. Those needles are just too big for my tiny veins. I got the bruising from elbow to wrist before, ain't gonna do it again

It has been a REALLY good day today!! If it was like this everyday, I'd stay here. But, it will never be like this all the time...and the rent IS outrageous!! I'm dreading moving all of this to the house tomorrow...but after that, I'm done!! Then I can paint at 4am if I want, work in my pj's...no overhead...IT'S ALL GOOD!!

I also found a good kids home near Montego Bay, and they sent me a list of things they need...they have 300 kids! yikes! anyway, the gal was so nice in her email, and i'm just glad we can take some things for these kids....they are from 2 to 16....
