Oh, Kobi, there's just nothin' better than going out in the morning to gaze at the pool and the entire top is covered in frog eggs...it's pleasant. Then, to look a little further and you find the frog dead, she drowned! I just find that interesting...
I have added so much shock to the pool, just because you know there's some kind of nasty residue floatin' in there, even after I skim all the eggs off!!!! It grosses me out!!!! So, now we have to wait a few hours before we can get in it....

Hi Elaine, it is amazing what they can do now days due to technology. my mom had 13 spinal fusions and disc removals, I think if it were today, she would have had less invasive surgery.

He's doing ok, his leg is still really really sore from the intense muscle cramps he had. Other than that, he's doing pretty good. Resting, taking it easy, althought B-O-R-E-D!

They went in through the back, on a few of my moms, they went in through the front.

Hey, what happended to Bette Cobs???

Mine wasn't that bad.. The disc was torn and pressing against my spinal cord and causing me to lose feeling in everything on the left side to go numb from the waist down.. I was only in the hospital 2 days and a couple more days in bed and then I was up mowing the yard.. It is still stiff sometimes in the morning (my back) but alright after I'm up and moving around..

the doctors said that mri and other test did not so how bad it was. nerve was like a ribbon. and the term of removal of disc was used. so my husband asks how my head will stay on my kneck(ha ha). me thinks i did something wrong right after operation. my son fell and i pick him up wrong and since then my hand goes numb everyone in a while. but i can shake it out. if it does not shake out me thinks i'm in deep trouble.

HI GEORGE!!!

Our day hasn't panned out as planned but it's all good. We had a long walk on the beach saw dolphins and seals, then went for lunch --- the walk was that long - no breakfast :-)
Of course at lunch G ordered Bloody Mary's so he's been napping and I just watched a movie.

Time to get my butt off the couch and act like I'm achieving something. It never did clear up so it's awfully easy to be a couch potato - snuggled under the covers :-)

Oh man.... I'm sorry brother. Migraines suck.

PS, you just keep on living the dream girl :-)

Debbie, G&I did a good days work from 4-7, now his back is paying for it.

We've enjoyed a nice bottle of wine, time to turn the telly back on and veg out.

See you all tomorrow and yes, please say a prayer, remembrance, or good thought for all of our service men and women who have died for our country.
