Jerry, I was just getting ready to do that. You took the wind out of my suck up.

How is everyone today? I'm in Flagstaff in a coffee house working. We came up camping early to avoid this:
May Snow

Thanks Kobi! Will be interesting.

Linda, the picture is from 10 minutes ago. Arizona is getting a big cold storm. While it is unusual, we can certainly use it.

I hope everyone is well in the fire area. We can certainly relate here.

Jerry, that's my buddy's truck. My son must have decided he didn't like blue trucks either last summer when he scratched his name and a smiley face in the door of it.

Brad, my husband is in Phoenix right now, and at the graduation (outside) last night, they were FREEZING and it was raining! lol Totally not what he expected. He sent pics last night but the 3 hr time difference means I got them at about 12:00. Will post some from home later. :-)

Brad - my boss at work bought a brand new BMW and a week later his 4 year old decided to take a piece of wood and customize the front quarter panel via brute force application of said piece of wood, while daddy was working on the yard. He laughs about it now but he wasn't very happy at the time. ;)

Another guy I work with had his son try to help daddy wash the car... except he was using rocks for the scrubbing part.

Kathy...cool! This storm is something else. I hope that it helps us get through the fire season with minimal damage.

Matthew, I can think of a few things that I did as a kid like that growing up.

What's funny is, a few months later my friend backed his truck in to my house. We've decided to call it even.

Check out this website
EcoAlaskaSeafoods

I just heard about it on the Ed Schultz radio show. He lets business owners call on Fridays to promote their businesses for free. It's always fascinating to hear how inventive people are. These two brothers turned their summer Alaska fishing into a business. He was a really nice dude. Just thought I'd share.

So get this... as I said we've got rain. It's just drizzling but just a few minutes ago it was pouring rain and hailing at Guy's station (which is just 9 miles north of me). What's that saying... 'don't like the weather, wait a minute and it will change'.

It always seems to be kind of wet here on Memorial Day weekend. The annual Santa Barbara i Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival is always held this weekend in front of the mission. Amazing paintings, a lot of hard work and usually a bit wet :-(
Lots of good food and music too!

We did a cookout for our employee's today; it was fun. We do it every month; rain or shine, sleet or snow. We roll the grill onto one of the loading docks, throw up the bay door and cook away.

I'm kinda dreading Costco, Boom! I imagine it will be wild. I'll suffer though I guess :-)

NO, you guys can't stop the partayyyy 'till I'm home! Had to stop and buy wine on the way so I was late!

Cheers friends. :-) Since it's a 3 day weekend, I'm joining you now. :-) (instead of waiting for sunset!)

Jerry, Leg, hand face all doing well. Thanks for asking. My broken finger healed pretty well. I can pull the clutch on the Harley but I can't play the piano.

I think after I get out of the pool, I'm going to have to start a new thread. My family is going on without me in Phoenix as Larry has 6 weeks leave and I only have 3, and I hate that I'm not there, but the dynamics are crazy, so in a way, I'm glad I'm NOT there! :-)

AFTER pool and sunset time. :-) I have good pics.
