It's kind of nice here at work today. Most of the executives and my boss are AOL, so I can get something accomplished today.

I don't know where Tom and Jerry are...... But I'm here, Patrick! Herded any sharks lately?

I'm taking the big step and booking my flights this morning! Trip insurance too, just in case John isn't cleared to dive. We need so much to get away, so I'm staying positive.

We BOTH want to go to Bonaire SO bad, we are in need of a break too!!

Gail I hear you about getting away!! I think if it were me I would go ahead and go even though my hubby couldn't dive we could both snorkel to our hearts content and learn to love it.. Just being in the warm {of course you are from FL so you have that everyday} and mostly dry atmosphere of Bonaire just does wonders for the soul and the body.. Good luck .. think positively and things will work out for sure either way.. as for aging parents,, been there done that.. they were upset if we even discussed the fact that we might not go on vacation because of our obligation to them.we all cried when we left and we all cried when we returned....

Gail, I have to sneak in my posts while I'm at work so sometimes it takes me a while to enter something. PegiSue, tell George congrats for the promotion. I hope you get to book a trip soon. I think this weekend and the mini meet in June will be all the traveling we do this year. We're trying to save $ for a BIG trip next year, but with the way things are the airfare may triple by the time we book. UGHHHHH!!

June might be a problem.....the roadtrip crew and me set our plan for June 22-29..it was decided to go north with a stop in Niagara Falls and the rest will be wherever we end up....so if anybody has some good stops around Niagara or Buffalo let me know.

Figures.....Timmmy and me just can't seem to get the dates right to meet up again.

I'd go anyway, but I think the stubborn male pride may get in the way! The one thing I love most about being in Bonaire is that John's electronic leash to Disney (Black Berry / 24/7 )doesn't reach him there. It's the only time of the year when he's truely on vacation.

Wish I could make too....this is our yearly roadtrip...so far 5 bikes 8 people....got 4 more we are waiting on to decide if they are going..they wanted to know where we were headed first.

Very slow starting up today, I'm not feeling very fresh and my monkey is missing again. I think I need more jello?

Fires are still blazing. The fire is in a less populated area and some of the homes are hard to reach. We are fine as far as the fire but the smoke is horrible. It is supposed to thunder shower tomorrow which will be a great help. One huge problem is a lot of people have horses and they are trying to get them all safely to the fairgrounds. A wolf rescue facility has been evacuated and they are just beautiful animals but people are a little hesitant to take them in. The good news is that no injuries to humans or animals have been reported!
