Good Thursday Morning...well yesterday I guess you could say I ate like a "normal" person, not one watching her weight, but not one who overindulges either...not bad for a busy, stressful, banquet day...and I DID exercise in between! Yay me!! :-) :-) :-)

My daughter received two small scholarships at the banquet $500 from the PTSA (one she had applied for) and $300 from a memorial fund for a teacher (due to her plan to major in early childhood/special ed)....that was particularly neat because I LOVED the teacher and she died only a few years ago and I didn't know there was a scholarship to honor her! She is the teacher I actually credit with giving my son the chance to find his niche in the world of technology when he had her in fourth grade. She was the kind of lady who would go "above and beyond" to get the kids to understand something, to share, and to discipline, too!

Happy, Healthy Thursday...the week is winding down!!
have a sunny day, it's raining here

Donna - congrats to your daughter :-) You've got a lot of good things going on :-)

Eileen - hope you've reached your goal :-) Wait on the weighing in :-) I haven't been on the scale for a month! Enjoy your day visiting the old neighborhood :-)

Yesterday was a good day :-) Had a very nice breakfast (not a diet breakfast) with Freddie & George then spent the rest of the day outside.
Just about finished mulching the vegetable garden with straw and planted more flowers. Went for a long walk on the beach with my dog then more planting. I was very tired last night but it was a good tired :-)
Back to work today to rest!!!!!

Have a great happy, healthy day everyone :-)

Morning Ladies!

Donna, that is wonderful news about your daughter. You must be so proud! Keep up with healthy eating, you can do it!

I am going to take my JR out again this morning, rain is coming soon and want to get my walk in before it starts, wondering if we should start building an arc with all the rain as of late? Might go for three miles today if my JR can handle it.

Judy, walking along the beach has to be the best!
I'm in the pineys, so lots of woods and such, miss seeing the sun go down by the water.

Eileen, you are in the home stretch now!

Good Morning Ladies. Donna, congrats on your daughters scholarships. Every bit helps.
Eileen, congrats to you, too. Sounds to me like you will meet your goal.
Judy, isn't it nice to accomplish so much on your day off and having a good time to boot?
Debbie. Have a great day.
I started mine off by trying on my bathing suit. It fits, and all that hard work is showing. Can't wait to go diving this weekend. The real trick now is to make it to the other coast (east coast of FL) in one piece. Lots of crazy Memorial Day traffic and wild fires.

Congrats, Eileen.....you are close woman!!!!  You're doing it :-)

Donna, BIG hugs and congrats to your daughter.  That is wonderful news indeed!

Everyone else, have a great day.  Healthy eating is slow going at this house.  Have NOT been to the store since getting home from Bonaire :-)  I have to do this as I have deadlines coming; hitting FORTY and then fam beach trip......OYE!  Motivate me please..............

Hey Gang well I'm back all the jazz has worn off from the Triathlon on the weekend, been busy trying to find work and in actuallity I have been working on trying to grow my own scuba biz, travel biz, so its busy, and as well I have been keeping up my training I have my doctor and final trainer appointment tomorrow I expect to see my weight at the target I was aiming for this Month at 278lbs, and you know what that means its time to set our June targets(268lbs) now you don't have to post your targets as they are personal but it keeps you accountable, I like to wear mine on my sleeve as to speak. Anyways after the tri I biked 20 k on Sunday I ran 3.5 k Monday and then ran 5.6 k yesterday, did a strength train class last night, so I've been busy since my race. Now my training is heading for a Sprint Triathlon August 17th 500m swim, 22.5k bike and a 5k run so a little more challenging than the last then our fall colors Run in Ottawa 10k race, so I have a busy schedule ahead , anyone looking for motivation stay here as thats why we have carried on this thread, and I will be anyones virtual workout buddy if their looking for one, I wish you all a great day guys, Anyone interested in a wellness vacation in Bonaire Mar/Apr 09 I am working on something to tie into the 1/2 MARATHON, 14K,7 K runs on the island, anyone interested send me a message this will be a great vacation, I promise and you will feel good or else( just kidding)

Hi Bob, man, you sure have been busy! Just got back from speed walking, yup, that is what I am up to right now. No running till next week sometime, but sure won't be as long as you do. I will be alternating, walking and running to rev up metabolism a bit, got to get my timing down a bit for the miles I am walking first. Congrats on your weight loss, I have lost 10 pounds in past month, got twenty to go over the next two months, if I keep going the way I am, I should meet it. Getting moving is key right now to keep the scale going downward. Hee Hee. Oh, I don't combine running with diving when on Bonaire, walking a bit, sure, but diving, diving, enjoying good friends and some serious R&R when I can grab a novel and read are what I look forward to on Bonaire, plus always working on our place there too. If I happen to be on island when you are there, would love to meet up though! :-) Got three trips before that time already planned for Bonaire, so not sure yet for Mar/Apr.

Want to do a wellness vacation, yes we should go for a beer or 3 when I'm there, right now working on a group for the feb/mar trip that is a dive vacation for sure . I'm trying to find someone on Bonaire that wants to hire me as well then I don't have to leave.

Morning!!!! (can you hear my sing song voice?)
I've started my day off right with an hour Circuit Training at the gym. My friend is such a creative trainer :-)
Breakfast wast lo-fat cottage cheese and hard boiled eggs --- I had a serious craving for just that so I guess my body was telling me what it needed because now I feel great.

I'm not sure what lunch will be - I've got an insanely busy day today.

Tonight I'm looking forward to making something nice and light for dinner.

Everyone is doing so well - I really enjoy these chats with you all.

Linda - I don't envy you though... I'm staying off the roads this weekend!!! Safe travels and HAVE Fun!!!!!

Enjoy your day everyone - don't forget to hydrate :-)

Boom, I don't want to be on the road this weekend either, but I do want to go diving.

Boom. I'll do my best, but since I'm diving for the first time with equipment and we haven't gone diving in 8 months I won't be bringing my video system. That leaves my little point and shoot film camera. Got to keep it simple. I can't wait!!
