That was great! And of course it was an African Grey - they are soooo smart!!! I miss mine terribly. I miss the Amazon too, but Daryl is a riot and talks to me constantly.

The vet believes the pup has an infection. I'm hoping that is all it is and that she will be on the mend.

Kaarien, I looked in old photos from 2004, a Bahamas trip - and found this one. THIS is what I want my hair to look like again. I could KICK myself for getting 6 inches cut off when we moved to FL.

I'm really curious as to what happens to everyone on Lost. What happens to Sawyer - he's not one of the Oceanic 6!!! Hopefully the ones that don't make it home, decided to stay on the island and don't die.
And how about the movable island!?!? Well if you've read The Life of Pi you might believe that it could happen.

I need to teach Calypso his name and address. He is micro-chipped, but still....
Last nite I made George take him out, late, because he seemed to have gas and was laying on my side of the bed, between me and my fan...it was NOT good!!! All the sudden George is beating on the FRONT door!! Seems Calypso ran a deer, ran thru a ditch (that is actually a creek) that separates our yard from the airport, then back thru the ditch, then ran up thru our neighbor's yard (that leads right into the road!!!!). George caught him at the front door, where he was waiting for his Mommy to save him from a very angry Daddy!!! He spent the nite on the back porch covered in mud!
This has been my biggest fear!! Our road is like the "Pet Semetary" road... We don't have the very back of the property fenced. Mostly because there's a ditch, Calypso won't go anywhere... But also because the deer come in at nite and we have 2 huge gopher turtles that live back there. They seem to be grandfathered in and I didn't want to mess with them!!!
Well, I think it's time to get some kind of fencing that is high enough off the ground for the turtles, and low enough for the deer. And Just Right for Calypso!! He's so afraid of tennis balls we considered lining them up across the yard, then he won't go back there at all!!!

And George was in his panties the whole time!!!!!LOL

HELP!!!! I just saw a commercial for the season finale of Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy for Thursday and LOST for next week on Thursday. Someone please help me double check this somehow. I really don't want to miss it and I told Wes to record it NEXT week.

I'm having a panic attack over LOST. LOL!!! I just checked TV Guide online and they list the season finale as next week. Maybe Canada gets it this week and the US next week. If so...EILEEN DO NOT SPOIL IT FOR US. LOL!

NO, Calypso is my pup!!!! Cliffy Clifferson III was my fish...I'm sorry to say he did not make it. I'm taking a break from my "Cliffy's" for a while. Right now I'm babysitting a baby turtle!! Henry!

I don't know if he's ever seen this book, but he is TERRIFIED of tennis balls!! He only has stuffed toys that squeak and you are not allowed to touch his toys, only he can hold them, very carefully, and squeak them softly...He's an odd pup!!
