G'day all!:-)
I've had a lovely day...went to the Doctor. Now I have more tests lined up for the 11th of June. I don't understand the field of medicine. People go because something is wrong...they can't be seen for weeks. They get seen, finally, and then tests are set up in weeks! By the time this test is done it will be 7 1/2 weeks since it all started. Yet if you put off going to a doc when something is wrong, they will give you a hard time asking "Why didn't you come in sooner?"

Just thoughts that go thru my head while at the gastroenterologist that is comparing himself to my gynocologist. Well, I felt like we were dating and I had offended him. I had to tell him he was better than my gyn!! I told him he had more stamina, girth & was FABULOUS!!!!LOL
He said no one had ever told him he was fabulous before...:-)

LOL, PS.....your humor just makes me smile....alot :-)

I was thinking about you while we were gone; hoping that you were getting results and/or answers. Sorry about the waiting game; that bites.

Keep your chin up and keep pressing for them to speed up the tests!!

Hugs!!!

Pegi Sue - our medical care here is in some serious trouble. My 30 yr old son was in the hospital for 4 days back in February - followed up with his GP who still had the hospital original diagnosis as a TIA - mini stroke. So he sent Josh back to the neurologist for addition tests and bloodwork, and the neurologist said no - she didn't think it was a TIA, and additional tests weren't needed. So back to the GP last week, the Doc said 'I can't believe that Florida Hospital released you without a clear concise diagnosis that all doctors agreed on'..... Crazy huh? But they sure did. It's very frustrating and tends to make you think you're going crazy......He's doing physiotherapy now. Hang in there - We're here for you!

PegiSue we graduated in the same year :-)
I'm going to stay out of the health care discussion because I'm still p***d about my insurance company..... doesn't pay to be healthy either, apparently!!!

Hi Gail

Insurance company....... BAD WORDS BOOM. We just got a letter that Metlife was no longer insuring homes in our area due to the hurricane risk. We've been paying them thousands of dollars over 28 years - and they drop us like a hot potato. Mind you, in the 28 years, we've only had like 3 hurricanes that hit Orlando, and we've never filed a claim for any of them....... I'm no longer balanced, I'm P*ssed!

I keep thinking I'm going crazy. This has just gone on for too long, sometimes I think "Maybe you ARE insane..." ...I know that doc thought I was today!!! But, hey, he started it!:-)

I hope we can dive in July...but it's not lookin' too good... I don't think we are going to Bonaire, this year anyway... I'm about to sell my soul for a plane ticket tho!!!!!

Jerry's now moderating himself? lol Ya'll are whacky, that's why I love you.

Brooke (my youngest) has a job as a CNA/Home health care with what she calls a VERY eccentric 70 yr old woman. She listens to this woman re-live her life every day, and picks up where the left off, the next. Reminds of that movie, "Fried Green Tomatoes". :-)

I told her I LOVE eccentric people, 'cause in many ways, I am one!

Pegi Sue, keep us all updated hon. Saw the bloodwork thing and told Larry and Frances and we did a happy dance. :-)

Happy to be home on a full moon Monday early - had shopping (hehe, I love that part of my job!), and shopped a little bit for myself, and got home at 4:00. Gonna lay low.

Full Moon.... might be the night to cut 12" off my hair. My Chumash friend says women are only supposed to cut their hair at full-moons. I want it to go to Locks of Love though so I might have to go to a certain salon..... something to check into if I have enough time this afternoon.

Gail.... I'm right there with you!!!

Boom, it is such a wonderful thing to give your hair to Locks of Love! If Rianna ever cuts her hair she promises to give it to them. Many salons will do it and my hairdresser does the cut and style for free when you donate.

Boom, my daughter did Locks of Love a couple of years ago...we were so proud of her!

Kobi, welcome home...I can relate to your jet lag, I think I'm still experiencing it. How was the trip?

It will actually be my third time... I wish I could say I'm such a humanitarian but truthfully I'm just too lazy to keep a regular cut :-)
My hair grows like weed too so it makes for a good goal.

It's a great organization and I'm happy that I can do it.

Kobi, did you know you have a year to post a trip report???? LOL!!!
