Larry is convinced we have Bill Bugs, they eat grass roots. I say no we don't, but whatever. :-) He ordered nematodes and Praying Mantis eggs. Icky. So, the mantas eggs have hatched, and we have macro mantises everywhere. I hope those nematodes have gone deep!

Anyway, here they are:
1
2
3
4
5

Wow, those moon pics are amazing! (or is it the sun setting?) Whichever, the colors are so vibrant! :-)

Kathy - we did praying mantis about 10 years ago & they are still around --- they are so delicate looking but do their job! I love seeing them. Have never done nematodes but they are supposed to be good too! Ahhhh - the natural way :-)
Good luck
Your pics are awesome :-)

Yuckie buggies! Can't you just use Ortho bug killer?

Gail I have always had a horror of mantises from seeing some movie when I was a kid, where there was a giant one. lol

That was the sun setting with little wispy colored clouds around it. Awesome!

Ooooh, ooooh, I found that movie that terrified me as a child:

Thanks Roy, found out it was smoke from the fires in south FL that gave us all that wispiness and color.

Today I floated in the pool and watched high clouds moving south and low clouds moving fast NE. There's still smoke up high, according to local news. Maybe we'll get another spectacular sunset. :-) Any time there is smoke or sand in the atmosphere, the colors are crazy beautiful.

Love the sunset pics, Kathy. I don't care much for the praying mantis's either, but hear they bring you good luck. We have a few around our yard.
