I can quit raggin' on Kobi now...I just got snail mail from her!!! That was exciting!! I really should check my mailbox more often!! My "presents" to me from the Derby were in there too!!!

The grocery store got robbed, kinda, while I was there!! They got the guy with $150 in steaks!! It was crazy!! The manager held him by his neck til the police got there. Everyone that works there was shaking so bad! I told them all to go sit in the beer aisle and I'd buy them a round...They wanted to, but the manager made them keep working!!! That aint right!!

What kind of steaks?

At today's prices that could just be dinner for two

Yeah, I was looking at the steaks when I was there and decided then that George will have to learn to be a vegetarian!!! Man, meat is hideous high!!!! I'll grow my own cow before I buy theirs! or, hang out front and grab the thieves!!

We've been getting pork loin on sale, cutting it up like I want, package in portions, freeze the rest for later. Soak it in Dales for maybe 30 min. and grill....taste to rival or beat steak!

That's how to do it HH. Smart boy!

That sounds good! Gonna have to get more gas for the grill after all!

Wow, first cyclones in Myanmar, then tornadoes in the midwest and south, then huge earthquakes in China, now I'm hearing about wildfires in Florida.....

I sure hope our BTrs are all out of harm's way. Many prayers for all of those thousands of lives lost and disrupted.

Dang, I just typed this big long post about the fires and lost my internet connection!

I've been watching the tv about the fires! They are bad. In Daytona and south near Cocoa, Brevard County. Most of these fires were set by someone yesterday when it was VERY windy. The wind is picking up now and they are spreading fast! There are so many homes in the paths!
