It's All Good....Here it is mothers day and she has me helping with the house cleaning....what's up with that!!!!

Anyhow we rode about all day yesterday to family stuff....had two birthday parties yesterday and took my mom out for diner last night.

Got Karen looking forward to the June roadtrip with about 8-10 on 5 or 6 bikes and we just know we are going west...thought I would browse map quest and see what I find.

Help - a while back I figured out how to save a YouTube file and then convert it to a file for my iPod. I have the trial software to convert it, but I can't figure out how I saved the file first. Anybody know?

I am trying to make a movie for my niece, pictures and short videos I took of her in Guys and Dolls, a middle school 'production'. I want to end it with a short youtube file from the original movie with Marlon Brando.

After that I'll be looking for a short audio file of most any song from Guys and Dolls, for background music during the pictures part of the movie.

Any help in either case will be greatly appreciated :-)

Denise, I would find the file (the 1st one) then right click on it, then properties, that might inform you as to the type of file????

Always seems the boss has to do the hard hours...would be nice if the help could handle it......I feel you pain though....I'm on call usually 24/7 unless I ask for a weekend off from time to time.

This seven days a week thing is getting very old fast!

Then I converted it using Xilisoft Video Converter (trial version) and I am making the movie using Windows Movie maker.

Yikes, alot of work. But is is coming out good for a 'home movie'. I just need to find an audio file now.

Bob has had to work this weekend and last but it means we can go to Bonaire in October. Up until this weekend we were going away for more days than Bob had official time off

OK, I'm being honest, haven't attempted to read anything. Great mommy's day for me- the Merlot is very tasty.................

I met my new niece - sorry, Kedron's new shopping buddy - Elise - born via c/s on May 6. She is tiny!!! (you have to remember Kedron was 9lbs 6oz when born and anything is tiny to that...). The boys (3 grandsons on Joel's side vs. 5 granddaughters) are sooo outnumbered!!! But Kedron balances it, she is sooooo a tomboy!!! High heels and bulldozers here we come! I have pics, but forgot the cam at the new mommmies house... The new girl is a cutie too!!!!

I will not even say how long it took me to write this...

I had a big day, a call from Prague from my oldest stepson, and calls from my girls in AZ and AL, plus I got presents. And my yd got a webcam, so I can see her and the grandkids up close and personal. They are all beautiful.

So, OK, out of 6 I have 3 true children, all adults, who honored me today. I'm glad I have a son.

Walked tonight, and it was a good 3 miles.

Feel like throwing cushions on the lanai to sleep on, as we have 27 mph gusts, but instead I'm going to close the doors and turn on the air.

I leave tomorrow for Orlando for 4 days.

All packed.

I'm gonna miss home and my computer! Couldn't get Larry (the rich one) to buy us a new laptop, so unless they have that option in my suite, I will be off till Friday. (can't do that!)
