Good Morning Diva's and Dudes who are here to support each other in healthy living and weight loss! Yesterday I controlled, but didn't count points. No exercise either...no time!

Today...running in circles with errands, meetings and an always fun dental appointment...

I wish you all a beautiful day!!
and lots of sunshine! :-)

Linda - LOL!!! That one always makes me smile :-)

Didn't get my run in this am but did get an hour walk and then another quickie w/Rasta.

I can't really say how today is going to go... I'll just take it as it comes and try to be as gracious, patient, and positive as possible.

Yeah, that's my mantra for the day.

Hey Linda farklets thats kind of personal he he!, no because these triathalons and marathons are new to me I haven't worked at fine tuning, basically I work on a big heart, and pigheadedness to get through most of my runs, after I get some of these runs under my belt I will give into more training as my runs will get longer and harder, last night it was running rolling hills and big hills, just to build character.I also depend on my trainer to get me through the hard spots.

Good Job Bob! I know exactly how you feel about the big hearted run :-) I used to not run because I SWEAT and SWEAT and SWEAT -- it just ain't pretty. But once I got over that vanity-hump, I really enjoyed running and now I kind of wear my red face and sweat as a badge :-) When I'm getting really worn out I remember that a) I'm carrying along a bit more heft than these skinny people, and LOOK at Me GO!!! and b) I've got these big strong legs for a reason!!
Have you ever heard of the Penguin Runner, John Bingham? John Bingham
He writes for Runners World Magazine. Runners World
He's really motivational, especially for larger runners.
I love the quote on his website: "The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start."

Thank you Bob for being such a motivator and keep it up!

Bob, I just threw that in because I like to say Farklet. Farklet, Farklet, Farklet.
Back in my running days (knees are bad these days) my trainer had me do those, skipping with my knees high and running in place while trying to kick my butt with my heels. Those three exercises did make a difference since they exaggerated movements.
Blah, Blah, Blah. You should hear me talk about diving!
Here's a link to my running group back in Kansas. http://www.kumaddogs.org/

Hey Linda no worries I get a kick out of farklets as well, Tara you also inspire me to keep going I like being inspirational considering in November a Triathalon was as close to my vocabulary as my chances of getting on the next space mission. As a scuba instructor I see challenges for my students and I help them through and accomplish their dreams so I take that with me as other people may "think I can accomplish that" oh yeah and its way better than listening to music while I run looking back laughing at me and what my students can accomplish, thanks Tara for your support Triathalon here I come, next the moon
