Well folks, you can now post family friendly YouTube Videos on BT more easily. It goes like this:

You will insert everything AFTER the equals sign in the squiggly brackets, in this case: f2NaIblKx14

It is the back slash \ then "movie" then the squigly brackets with the "f2NaIblKx14" in the squiggly brackets. The example below is with spaces, you cannot have spaces when you post the link.

\ movie {f2NaIblKx14}

OK I have a problem.. I have cable and this page will not load at all.. I have rebooted, turned off my mail accounts {so there is nothing else running while it loads} and still no good any suggestions???? I am open to all...
It shows a blank space where I would assume the video should be, and this happened in the moderator test pages as well.. Martin any ideas????

well it finally loaded 16 minutes cool.....

it loaded when I turned off my MSN messenger and closed both mailboxes..this is not good on my part...

rebooted again so far so good....Bob I believe you brought me good luck..

It worked ok at home, and seems fine at work, just fired up my laptop, that's ok as well????

I personally, do not like this idea, if one wants to click on and see the youtube thingie, the link is better.

I do not like clicking on and seeing this big box sitting in the posting section at all.

don't try this at home...

blockers and firewalls are in place to protect my computer.. and I should not have to turn them off.. it took me 5 minutes to load that video..
I also think the links work better.. IMHO Facebook is a better place for these.. jMHO though

Jerry, I was wondering the same thing about bandwith space that takes up too.

Me, I like the link, takes up less space, no huge box taking up space on the thread, and I get to choose if I want to look at the box or not. Don't get me wrong, youtube is quite interesting at times, but just don't keep sticking up these big boxes on BT, as really, it kinda takes away from it in MHO. Links are so much neater and eye appealing.

folks, this does not take up any more bandwidth. I like it, I don't always have time to click on the video to see what it is due to time. This way, I can get a small preview without going to youtube, and off the thread page. Plus, if I've seen it, I recognize it and don't have to click.

You still have the choice to just post the link.

Ok...now that I have opened the page (on dial up here), I clicked on the videos and got this message for all three "We're sorry this video is no longer available."

guess I am just an old fashioned gal. Will stick to doing the links, glad to know I can still do it that way too!

Tribs, did you try more than one.... I got that on one of the one's that ModCyn posted but others opened just fine.

I have to say my knee-jerk reaction was -- YUCK!! but after a day of glancing in when I can I like it. Lately, I just don't have the time to click every link to see what's posted - that's why I try to name each link descriptively. I like getting the brief preview.

It is great that we can do whichever is most comfortable for us
