Shows you what being married to a nurse does for you, I did not know it was Nurse's Day. Does this mean I have to buy Sue a present? OK, I'll get her a new PDA and cell phone (which I was doing anyway).

Thanks to all the nurses, everywhere! I know I have great admiration for my nurse; even when she can't find my veins LOL!

Seriously, there is a great need for nurses and their job is VERY important!!! THANK YOU!

Yes....I agree totally!
We woke up this AM with a call from Steve's sister. Steve's father (85) had a heart attack.
He is stable at the moment and they put a stent in....he is amazing....
Steve and his brother (both doctor's!) ask the nurse if his father(also a retired doc. is ok to play golf on Saturday!
The look on her face was priceless! I patted her on the back and said..."You are in for quite an eye opening week!"
I was wondering why there was bagels and donuts everywhere!!!!
Things are stable...and Steve's father will probably out live both of us!!!
Hats off to all the nurses out there! You do much more than you know!

Happy Nurses Day to all my co-workers, most of whom are nurses, & to nurses everywhere! You work your tails off every day, & don't get the recognition you all deserve! Meryl, hope Steve's Dad is doing better!

Ohhhhh....sorry I missed this! Happy belated Nurse's Day. I have to tell you, when I was hospitalized a few years ago, my nurses were the best!!! I have a lot of respect for what they do.
