Talking about freshness!

Just went to the fridge to get some freshly made juice (4 x orange, 2 x grapefruit, 1 x lemon).
Opened the door and....wang... talking about "fresh" man!
Somebody turned the dials on "FREEZING".
That's bad, can you imagine the difference, coming from 88F.

O.K., the boss lady and I came to a compromise, wasn't easy, but I still got a job. Boy, is she tough! But, I have been doing this job for almost twenty years and I kinda know what can and can't be done humanly. I'm good, but not the bionic woman. Now, onto getting what needs to be done around here again. Glad that is settled for now. Still have to work out some kinks in it, but thinking it will work.

ever BBQ'd zucchini, squash, and tomatoes...on skewers..yummie.
like to skewer wings also and grill them...(like Logans) yummie also. Gosh, i'm hungry!

How long do I keep the veggies on for without burning them?..
I'm a newbie barbeque'ie. Wings sound like a good idea.

the vegies actually take longer to cook than I thought they would
I grill the till they are brown on each side...they are always still firm but browned

Meryl, this is a easy one, bur sooooooo goooooood!

Serve with a chilled white wine.

BARBECUED SHRIMP

2 lbs. large shrimp in shell
3/4 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon thyme or oregano
1/4 cup parsley, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Shell shrimp, leaving tails on.
Make marinade by combining all remaining ingredients.

Pour over shrimp and refrigerate for 1-4 hours.

Place shrimp on skewers. Grill over white hot coals, turning once. Cook until brightly pink.

the wings are very good and just the sauce is fattening...the vegies will take as long if not longer than the wings..on low (at least they do when I cook them) I like them heated through but not mushy

Meryl....last year my hubby started grilling fresh green bean.....YUMMY!!! He uses a grill pan, and just cooks them till they are hot, some of them get a little burned looking...but OMG they taste awesome!

I live in a small apartment in Nikiboko (east of Kralendijk). I for a small comp dealing in, well practically everything a visitor to our island would need (no, Jerry, there are boundaries ;-)).

You could always room with us, if you do not mind sharing with my hubby and our 7 year old son.

I did the wings on the skewers, they turned out great..or so Stevie said...(I'm veggie)
I grilled MY asparagus and green beans and tomatoes and they were yummy!
Barbera wine....
