Just got a call from me lady, she is starting her journey home. Told me that some of the doll's she was looking at were over 20k - EEEEEKS, I said!!!

Patrick, around 7:30, my sleepy headed boy, your lil buddy Ben, came down the stairs yelling "Hey Dad, are you using Patrick's "Flar" this morning?" I literally laughed my butt off:-) Ben, Katie, Ben's buddy Bruce and Katie's friend (my other daughter) Mallory all wolfed down Beau's and my version of biscuits and gravy. Felt really happy when Mallory said "These are good.". I lost some of that good feeling when Benny said "You think these are good, you ought to try some of "ar" (I swear the kid said "ar") friend Patrick's.

Guys, don't ever let Patrick cook his B&G for your family, your's will never compare:-)

HEY WHAT IS UP WITH TEENAGERS ANYWAY?

Every morning I ask them to put their dirty clothes down the laundry chute. Last night I went into their room and they both had piles which should have had placards which stated:

1. USED A LITTLE
2. USED MORE THAN A LITTLE BUT, STILL TOLERABLE
3. WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION - BIOHAZARD SUITS REQUIRED

posted near them. Three loads done, last one in the dryer.

Well, gotta head out to Lowe's (purdier an sweeter smelling customers than Home Depot IMO) and get a new power washer. Dishes to be done and kid's bathroom to clean then,... I have to take the cat diapers off of Riley and Wilbur, powerwash them back to being clean. Thought this one up a few years ago when Pam was away for a few weeks. My lady loves coming home and finding clean litter boxes. WOW, I am tired already, and to think today was the day I was going to use the sawzall and give my self a pedicure prior to my weekly mud bath. Nope, not gonna be able to pamper myself today:-)

DANG, a domestic WOOO - MAN's work is never done. CYA, my friends:-):-):-)

Tom, you could start a new TV series by mixing Mr. Mom with Home Improvement. Nothing like wrapping your hands around the nozzle of a power washer that can remove paint. LOL Have fun at Lowes. I was there yesterday getting a new mailbox post.

Tom...lol on the kids clothes...Dylon's room used to have the same problem...I'd close his door the "aroma" got so pungent. He always blamed it on the turtle...hmmm...now that it is my new "workout room"...turtle is still in the same room, the "aroma" is gone...hmmmm...I don't think it was the turtle.

20K for a doll? OMG, Michael would er...can't post that here...LOL!

Tom, Sounds like you'll be busy today. The laundry pile signs are a hoot.
Does Pam collect or sell dolls? I'm a teddy bear artist and make & collect the teddy bears Pam probably sees at those shows. What a coinkidink!

Tom, you always crack me up!
What kind of dolls does Pam collect? Rianna was given a doll collection when her Grandmother passed away some of them are from the early 1900's and scary as hell looking! We are not sure what to do with them. Oh, and we have several of those Vermont Teddy bears that cost 9 million dollars a piece too! :-)
Linda, a teddy bear artist sounds cool!

YIKES!! It's down-right chilly outside :-( Even the cats came right back in after checking the perimeter of the house. Practically the polar-opposite from yesterday.

Thanks Roseanne it is fun for me. I love making their faces. If Rianna ever get the urge to get rid of the doll collection check out the back of any doll collectors magazine to see if there are any appraisers in your area. Or just give them to Pam.
Do any of you remember the Seinfeld episode where George's Susan moved her doll collection into George's apartment and her favorite doll was the spitting image of his Mom? LMAO!

Time for some shopping/chores.
See you later.

Is Kathy diving today. I'm jealous!!

Linda, I do remember that Seinfeld episode...lol!

Sarah has a few dolls, but they are newer ones. I have a few VT Teddy bears, michael gave them to me in the early years. We had 2 teddy bears on the top of our wedding cake that were given to my by my best friend. In fact, I was going through our wedding pictures yesterday...uh...it will be 14 years and I still have not put them into the album. I have the album, but have never done it...lol. I'm going to do that today, it was fun to look at them, and see my parents and grandmother...I miss them.

I just got a special card from a BT sort of lurker, thank you my friend, that was very kind (if you're lurking)...

Hi all. Here I am in the Fort Lauderdale airport using the free Wi-Fi. That is getting increasingly rare (free wi-fi). I had an interesting trip to the Keys, I try to tell it later after I finish licking all the wounds (nothing permanent or to disfiguring).

Tom great stuff, and remember Rodney's rule, "It's never a mistake to use a power tool".

PATRICK, I'M HOWLARRIN:-) Thanks Bro, that stuff is like Gold.

Well, I am back, never made it to Lowes, got talking to Jerry and drove right by it:-) Actually, we already have a nice one at our compressor business.

Cecil, power tools do rule. If I keep acquiring them... we are going to need a bigger house. uh uh uh:-)

RosAnne, give that little fella a big hug. Allergies stink!!!

Having trouble with my eyes today, watching NASCAR re-runs and all. NASCAR - DONTCHA LOVE IT. So interesting and exciting.

"THEY ARE TURNING LEFT, THEY ARE TURNING LEFT, THEY ARE TUR.......":-) (Shamelessly stolen from Sweet Daddy D)

Dinner at seven folks.

Simple tomato & spinach salad with crumbled blue cheese and BV.

Sauteed Fiddleheads (according to the man they were picked this morning) mmmmmm.

Seared (barely) pepper encrusted ahi served with fresh made WAAAAAAHSAAAAHBI, ginger and soy sauce
and since I couldn't find any hot dogs
NY Strips

Don't worry dieters, there is lime sorbet for dessert. The A.M.A. states that each tsp of lime sorbet absorbes 326 calories so, I'll probably have to eat a half a cup of it.

The A.M.A. thing might not be true but, it is my story, I'm sticking to it and using it.

Wish I had one of Jerry's "rear" cigars to enjoy afterwards.

Well gotta run finish doing my prep work

then

quickly run the lawn tractor over the lawn blowing the leaves over the ledge. (So she thinks I raked the lawn this weekend)

OH YEAH!!! FOR YOUR INFORMATION I AM KING AROUND HERE!!! No really, a sweet lady in Florida gave me a shirt (which I am wearing) with a lounging lizard on the back that is saying "It's Good To Be King" and for all you smart alecs

Tara, Jerry is the man, I am still in training.

Fiddleheads are wonderful. I was raised near a river (yep I and Beau is river rats) especially loved this time of year because of fiddleheads, fresh leeks and BECAUSE THE GLACIERS RETREAT FOR OUR CURRENT SEASON - MUD SEASON:-)

I do love the man song. Imagine some of the less macho guys on this board can even relate to it.

Yes, I know there are a few of us "Kings" that are lucky to have our "Queens". Been with my lady twenty one years (she is almost trained) will have been married eighteen of those if she keeps me around until this Tuesday:-) Don't tell her but, I am taking her to Burger King that night, might even let her give me a pedicure after dinner:-) COMPETE WITH THAT DUDES!!!

DRYER BUZZER JUST WENT OFF - SEE YA LATER:-)

HELP!!! I used fabric softener on this load of laundry because when the cats walked by the other loads I was folding, the clothes clung to them. I followed the directions and only put one capful in the dryer with the clothes. Now all of the clothes, while they smell nice, they are sticky. DID I GET SOME BAD CONDITIONER?!?!

Wait a minute......

DANG, I HIRED KATIE TO MOW er RAKE THE LAWN AND SHE JUST DROVE THE RIDING MOWER THROUGH ONE OF PAM'S NEW "FLAR" GARDENS!!!

Can't get this song out of my head today:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=An4dD7wOXtk :-)

I wish I had the GLITTERS to inject here, but, I'm just to old to take any more (*).

I can say I was told that it has to do with a blunt headed hammer and whipped cream.
