No sleeping here, son overslept for school today, but he got ready in less than 8 minutes and out the door on time. I got a long list of to do's today, so will be mostly lurking today.

I think I'm still "bed-ridden"...we went to WalMart last nite and I thought I was gonna pass out. I started shaking and sweating, it was weird! Maybe it was 'cause I was at WALMART!!! I don't go there, that place scares me!! Kobi should do my shopping for me!
And now I am freezing...I have a coat on, the windows are open, and I live in Florida...I need a new thermostat! Warrantee is running out fast!
Other than that, it's a good day!! Kentucky Derby is tomorrow!!!!!

Doctors? What? I have no idea. I've called them, I have insurance, maybe that's the problem!!! I had said, when I was on Bonaire w/ my ear problem, that if I ever REALLY needed a doc I would fly to Bonaire to see Dr. Schradder...I think it's time to take some action with this plan!!!

PS, go back to the ER if it's that bad, or just go to your docs office and sit (or lay) there until you can be seen. I've had a couple of experiences with unresponsive docs, and sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Having the symptoms you are, with no diagnosis is a bit unsettling. Is it just the back that hurts, or is it the whole body? (I have a very worried look on my face right now)....

Linda, mergers...been there done that...2 years of h+*l I tell ya. If you survive, it's good on the other side...

OK, gotta get ready for the work gig, and take care of hubby, he has the flu, and a herniated disc. This is a man who never gets sick...double whammy poor guy

PS...can't believe they let you out of the ER without a diagnosis? Did they do any tests? I thought you had pain in your pelvic area (can we say that here? ) Now it is your back?
I agree with Cyn...you shouldn't have pain for this long without knowing its origin.

Gonna do some weeding than meeting my daughter to place a bet on the Kentucky Derby..We do that every year...only the longshots!

Go to the ER, or, go to your doc and lay on the reception room floor till they see you. Especially since you have pelvic pain (yes, meryl, we can say that)

Still regular doctor's hours...you can always call and have him/her review the ER's findings ..or lack of.
It's the weekend..you don't want to go through it with pain...stir them up PS!

Patrick, just got to work. I was waiting at a 4 way intersection and witnessed a car with his left turn signal on abruptly take a right across another lane of traffic into a Pub's parking lot (probably going there for breakfast). The man pulled right in front of a guy on a mint 89 Classic H.D.. The rider did his best to avoid the idiot in the car but no luck and ended up on the trunk of the car. When he rolled off of the car (biker was shaken but fine) and took his helmet off I realized it was Pam's and my old friend Mark. I thought he was going to drop the driver from the car in his tracks when the man said "I never saw you.". I spent an hour on scene with the cops and being there for Mark. The driver of car was charged with "Careless and negligent operation/accident resulting. Came to the shop to get tools (and camera) then went back to take photos and help Mark make the bike temporarily rideable. Just followed him to his construction company's office. Am typing this as photos of the damage to the bike are being copied to a C.D.. Ohmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

PS...good they did test you...they should have them by now. Call them so you get the results by the end of today.
Cat scans and Ultrasounds are usually read the same day as they are taken.."especially in the ER".
I love the derby also...I just try to hear the announcer's voice as they would be passing the finish line...I pick the name first name that comes into my head from the list.

She said I was right in waiting for them to call me, as they should've gotten the results and then called me. Well, I've certainly been waiting...

Checking in between mowing grass and planting some really cool flowers in my flower pots. It is getting really hot here, I take back what I said this am, sun is hot, wish our pool was open right about now, but I am waiting till after all the pollen has done it's thing before opening it.

I DEFINITELY took advantage of the opportunity to sleep in today. We have a blizzard going on this fine May 2, with no travel advised, work is cancelled, and I'm here at home with my dog and my Teddy. Life is Good.

I have found, that sometimes you have to be a little persistent in order to get seen. Some offices are so busy it's frantic, but when you are in serious pain, you need to make it clear that you need to be seen. JMHO of course

Don't even get me started on the quality of healthcare in America...sigh...

Just got off the phone with my SIL. Her mom (94) has lung cancer and alzheimer's. They aren't doing treatment due to her age, would be too much so have chosen to let it be. She's now feeling the tumor and feeling teh pain. SIL said, it feels like puerto rico all over again Hugs to her.

Also, ANOTHER coworker, has BC...WTF? This one also eats right, exercises, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink. Makes me think there is something in our building...

I'm going home tonight and have 2 bottles of wine, the fattiest dinner I can find, and smoke a cigar...lol...or not lol...

Oh...your poor little Prius. We are having thunderstorms today and they are driving me nuts. We keep losing power, so I haven't been able to stay on line for any length of time today. I just hate storms. We don't have a back up for our sump pump and our generator died. I get real nervous during any storm. I honestly would take snow over thunderstorms, but at least I know we are headed out of the spring storms and hopefully into some good summer weather.

However, I also see a number of idiot bikers zipping between cars and not behaving either. I think there are bad drivers on both sides. We got a couple inches of snow yesterday here in Castle Rock, CO. The day before it was almost 80 degrees! Gotta love it.
