Kathi and I were not going to go to Bon this summer. However, it looks like she is going to take her niece to Curacao for a little dive vacation. We got her certified on Bon when she was 16, and she is graduating this year. Kathi is her godmother and they are very close. Anyway, the lunatic who went with me over Christmas, Gary, wants to go back this summer. We are in the planning stages right now. We are thinking about the first two weeks in August or 10 days or so.

On a sidenote, my buddy Gary is without any doubt in my mind one of the funniest human beings I have ever encountered, and that has been a lot of them. On our last trip, in December, I laughed more than a human being should. In particular, the four of us came stumbling in from Papaya Moon after drinking way too may chocolate Martinis. Four guys from Brasil came pulling up to BOA and were trying to open the gate. Gary told them he was the night manager and took them to their room, showed them around, put their airco on, etc. He asked them if they wanted him to speak Portugese, Spanish, or American. When he said American I ran out of their room and almost threw up from laughing out in the courtyard. They told him American would be fine. This is just one of many Gary stories from those ten days. I am looking forward to more in August.

When in Cozumel I read the menu board to a table of tourists...no, I didn't work there but I sure had but back more than my fair share of beers. Some day I'll share about flinging a bottle across the same resteraunt. It was rather funny.

Well I wasn't aiming for anything. I was...well, let's see how delicately I can put this...I was trying to drink a bottle of beer without using my hands. I am quite capable of doing that but having had a few already I was a little too loose lipped and wild headed. Anywho - I literally threw one back and it went crashing on the tile floor but a little guy came out from the back with a broom and dust pan, swept it up and just went back in the back...it was almost like it was a regular occasion. But it wasn't Carlos and Charlies - it was a "decent" restaurant.

Linda, I work with this guy everyday. He is even a crazy teacher. He teaches music, and the kids have a blast with him.
