Well, it's been pretty miserable/rainy here today but we have some entertainment in our Koi pond :-)
They have been in the pond & around it since this morning & it looks like they have no intentions of leaving......anytime soon :-) :-)

The fish at the bottom left we call crooked fish
He/she got trapped last year in between a ledge in the pond by ice but luckily the hub saved him/her although now a very crooked fish. He/she swims great in reverse but has difficulty swimming forward & a lot of time swims sideways skimming the top. Crooked fish has figured out that the slower you go the better the chances are of getting food........so all is good with crooked fish! The bend in the fish is permanent & sometimes has 2 bends (in opposite directions)
Chiropractor for fish?

Great pictures! We have two ducks that land right outside our fenced back every afternoon. They look exactly like the 2 in your pics :-)

The Yorkies LOOOOOOVE for them to "almost" land in our yard. I run out and wave them off.....not a good yard for them to land in; feathers would surely fly.

Thanks for sharing your great pics; very tranquil!!

Ahh - hubby saw a duck in our koi pond last week. We've been cleaning the ponds this weekend but we only got to two of the three. The last one is the biggest one. In my "OCD" phase I count things - like fish. It was OK whne there were only 10 and I knew them by name. Now there are only 4 large ones but there are about 28 "baby" koi - OYE! That's heck on a counter like me.
