Hello and Happy Sunday. I had my 4pt breakfast...bran for life bread with one egg and a sprinkling of bacon bits...it was good. Now the challenge, don't blow it when I get to my Dad's....but I'm not worried, I just won't go overboard and will go right back to behaving tomorrow...and keep it moving!! :-)

And...PEGSUE...please post...I'm worried about you...anyone hear from her????

Happy Sunday to you too Donna :-)

Enjoy your day at your Dad's :-)
What's up with PegiSue? Is she ok?

Well, today is not going to be a good diet day! But it's "chill out" Sunday :-)
Off to pancake breakfast with Freddie & George :-) Hopefully, pancakes. This place doesn't usually make pancakes .....but Freddie put in a special request :-)
Lunch - just salad
Dinner beef brisket w/mashed taters & asparagus & a salad :-)
Tomorrow is another day!

Judy...your day sounds fun and delicious!! :-)

We really have to arrange a meeting over this summer...you are within reach...we can meet in NJ or someplace in between us! We should mapquest and see where mid-point is...and Amanda will be in NJ all summer doing research at Rutger's. :-) :-) (that's very near where I am from!)

Pegi was having problems with her BP meds yesterday afternoon...went to bed early and hasn't been heard from since. I'm concerned!

Donna - sounds like a plan :-) Would love to meet up with you :-) Something to work on :-)

Hope PegiSue got in touch with her doctor - maybe just a bad reaction - maybe a change in meds or a lower dose? Hope she's ok & checks in with us

Gotta run - see you later :-) Have a Great Day :-)

Seems to be a week for the docs. I have to go tomorrow. I had bloods done as routine, most things were good but raised blood glucose. There was the dreaded type two D******* mentioned. I am really worried. Fingers crossed for me.
In the mean time please help yourself to lunch. Pork or chicken, new potatoes, cauliflower broccoli, carrots and apple sauce. Gravy and Yorkshire puds for those not dieting.

I'm here...I'm sorry, don't worry about me, I'm always all right...:-)
I think I'm just having some of the "side effects" from this medicine. I've only been on it for 2 1/2 days now...it just makes me feel weird, and I don't like that, but I slept til 6:30 this morning!!!! I'll take the side effects if I can sleep!! I don't remember the last time I slept all nite, more than 2 hours!! So, I'm a little dizzy and sicky feeling today, but other than that, I'm ok. I'm trying to get some cleaning done before anything else starts with this...just in case. Thank you for your concern, I would've posted again, but I was SLEEPING!!!!!!!!:-)

Donna, I thought you were a nurse!LOL Well, you work in a doctor's office...Timmmy slept in a Holiday Inn Express and can do plastic surgery!!!LOL
That's just how it works!!!!

:-) PS :-)

Good job ladies!

Off to work on this weeks menu. Have you noticed the price on food is going up weekly?
I buy some items that are let's say $2.oo for 8oz.
Still $2.oo, but only 5oz now.

I buy fresh fish off the boats, now there is a gas surcharge added to the price of the fish.

We should all be mad as hell that our government has allowed this to get to this point. Exxon top man will receive another $10,000,000.00 bonis this month!

Morning everyone great breakie with Judy and Les this morning.. PegiSue!!!! you should not HAVE to PUT UP with the side effects.. you should stop the medication and call your doctor tomorrow morning first thing!!! tell him you could sleep but that you don't feel well and then describe the symptoms.. No medicine should make you feel worse than you were before {unless you are on Chemo} I found out that I can't take cholestrol medications.. I took them for about 2 weeks and then my heart started to race and I could just about move my legs. I held out as long as I could.. My doc told me I had been foolish to last that long.. He took me off the meds and now I am taking something that doesn't effect me at all.. I also take 2 advils every night to help me sleep just plain advil not the night time one.. It does the trick!! it lets me settle.. I have a few friends that do the same thing {as long as you don't have bleeding ulcers or something like that that you can't take asprin like drugs} I am not a nurse or a doctor,I have worked in the medical field, however this is just my opinion and what I would do if the meds made me feel bad...

Gee, BT is turning into Pegi's Medical Advice Column!!LOL I would stop them, but it says on the warning thing that you can't just STOP taking them...I'm going to the er, for my OTHER problem...I went to 2 different Drs. for 2 different problems I've been having. Now, the other if flarin' up! This is just grand!

I've been lurking this weekend, and I want you all (ya'll) to please take care. My only problem this morning is the cat won't step away from my computer screen. I have to move her to read. She likes to be the center of attention. >^..^<

The price of everything going up is scaring me. Jerry, Exxon's top man needs to live in our shoes for a while.

Okay only happy thoughts now. Maxi Meet!!
