I'm here again for a few
Picked up my SIL. She was on a FAM (travel agent lingo) trip of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Had to only drive 30 miles to pick her up in New Market, VA. Nice day for a drive and I chatted with Renee (Hoppner House Sponsorship Coordinator) while I drove up the highway. Renee...I lova ya girl!

Storms just rolled through here and we're all kinda tired but I have some emails to catch up on and BT to do too!

My SIL, Penny, hadn't met Bubbles yet so they are now introduced and Penny went up to take a nappy! She's a whooped gal after all that riding and touring. She started in TN and ended up here in NW VA. Stops all along the way from Biltmore to Grandfather Mtn., to Monticello.

I love this part of the country

Donna, what is the name of the meds I told you this morning? I wanna look it up, I don't feel very good right now....

That may seem odd, but she's a nurse, I don't remember what it was & I'm sure she will...

I almost posted on the wrong Saturday thread. PS...take care and call your doc. Kobi - glad to hear it was sinuses, still a bummer, but much better than a toofer problem - especially with Bon around the corner.

Birds and nesting, well...good luck with stopping them. We had a grackle decide our grill was going to be its nest one year. Thankfully we grill pretty much daily. Every day we would open the grill and take out the sticks. The bird finally gave up after a few weeks. It was very persistent.

We got in baby squirrels at KARE. They are just too cute! We have 5 grey and 1 black. I finally got to hold my first baby black squirrel. They are adorable!!!

Sorry to not be here today, but we've been in the pool ALL day. And I didn't want to brag. I have a glorious tan, and it feels so good.

Last night, we went for our regular walk, and got Melanie as she wants to walk with us, and second time around we left Larry with Shawn (Melanie's husband), so by the time we walked around again, the guys were deep into beer and conversation. So us girls, after the second round, we walked up to Jamie's house, and her husband sings. So they came back with us and he sang and we talked and laughed, till it was 12:00.

I slept like a baby till 10:00 this morning, with the windows open and the ceiling fan on helicopter speed.

Didn't fix breakfast, and we just warmed up pizza for lunch.

I'm a total bum today.

We're going to ride tonight, out to the beach and to Shhhhhh Don't Tell Mama's. lol

And Larry's taking his camera and the tripod, and he's the designated driver.

Life is good.

And I actually bought the new Alicia Keys album, or rather, CD.

And my bipolar (but very sweet and smart and very much loved by me) daughter who asked me for $500 last week and I couldn't do it as I've had $1500.00 in car repairs this month, cut me off from her phone for a week. And she called me today, and she found a way to do it on her own. She looked up AL's junk car ordinance, and if a person has a junker, they still have to get a tag and insurance. So she printed up many copies of that new ordinance, and made some business cards, and went door to door with people in Lineville, AL, and cleared $1600, buying cars and taking them to the scrap yard, after removing all good parts from them, selling them for the scrap metal.

Listen, my youngest daughter is Daisy Duke. She repo's cars...really.

So I'm good tonight, and everything's gonna be alright.

Hi gang. First post of the day. I've been busy with Saturday morning classes, eye exam, turning in my regulators for their yearly exam, groceries and yard work. I'm using my eye glasses from three years ago for two weeks since my newer glasses were sent off for new lenses. Things are a little fuzzy.

Tribs. I had a baby red squirrel years ago. He was a rescue baby - didn't even have his eyes open when I got him. Needless to say we were inseparable buddies and he played with my brother and I like he was a cat. You're going to love those little babies.
