I have been busy...took Calypso to the vet at 7:30am, seems the docs don't get there til 9!! So he goes back at 11:30 and I have a doc appt. at 9:45am...this is too much! Oh, did I mention I have a shop downtown that should be open at 10am? I'm thinkin' that aint gonna happen!!LOL

Well, I'm back from MY doc visit, Calypso is next...
Seems I am going thru menopause!!! That aint right, but I kinda knew that. But he says everything I asked about is menopause!! I am no longer crazy...when you reach a certain age it changes it menopause!! Good to know...I'll make a note of that!!
I think Calypso is going thru menopause!! We'll know soon...

When I went through menopause, Louise removed all sharp objects from the house, and made me sleep in the basement next to the water heater.

At least I know my blood pressure isn't up..I thought it was and was REALLY worried. But now I just will never sleep again, 'til this passes, as my Doc said. Nice. He is a plethora of information!!

Shoooooot, I must be suffering womenopause. Hired a person to help on the renovation project, supposedly he was a "great" sheet rock taper. Got to the house last night and discovered a mess. Worked on fixing it until late last evening, went back this morning too dang early. About an hour ago he shows up (three hours late) and starts giving me *shoot* for correcting his mess. Showed him the road - ohmmmmmm!!!

On the upside, since P.S. isn't up here to help paint, Benny is priming wainscoting for me. Kid is doing a real good job too, getting almost as much primer on the wood as is ending up on his paints.

Can it be September soon - PLEASE!!!

Jerry, since Pam started menopause, twelve years ago, I have become so good at walking on tiptoes and jumping that I could be in the ballet. Pretty picture, isn't it.

I just took Calypso to the vet. OK, now we all know that he has BAD nerves...seems he's picking up on my stress and that is what is making him sick!! I have nerve pills for him, but I'm going to try not to give him those, yet... But he gets some pill at 3:00, then some special food(he hasn't eaten in 3 days without ), then at 3:30 another pill, and this goes on every twelve hours...Luckily I am up at 3am, so this will be no problem!!

Dang, PS!  We both have NOT had a good week.  After my rush back to the vet yesterday, with Miss Tiny Bubbles, I was whopped.  I'm sorry about Calypso not feeling well   Hugs to him and to you.Today, Bubbles is back to kung foo fighting so she's gonna be fine!  I am with ya on the 'pause thingy.  I'll be 40 in July and I KNOW that is my problem; PERImenapause anyway and I can't blame it on Rob anymore darnit!

PS, I've been going through the "mens" for about four years...you get used to it...lol..just wait till you start snoring, and then George has to sleep in another room cause you are keeping him awake...LMAO!

Why not try taking some of Calypso's nerve pills? Maybe that would help? no?

I'm busy planning our next trip to Bonaire, that Michael doesn't even know exists yet...glad he doesn't read BT! lol!

hey everyone...did anybody feel the earthquake last week...people around me that is. It was in Indiana I think and my house ROCK AND ROLLED in Jamestown!! Stuff fell off my walls..very freaky

BC, I already "sleep" in another room...got some good meds for myself, I just need to change the things I can!

PS, I didn't used to snore...but when it's really loud, poor michael goes to the guest room. I wake up, and am like, dang, I must be snoring. The other night he said he didn't get much sleep cause one of the dogs kept tripping over the fan cord and unplugging it (punkie) he heard the klickity klick, then the fan would go off. I also have our dive gear stacked in there. Guess one of the other dogs was sleeping on top of it, and fell off, rolled under the night stand and coulnd't get out...LMAO...poor dogs get all freaked when we sleep in separate rooms, and ende up going back and forth all night...

Oh, Cynde, you just hit on something there...Calypso has been pacing all night long since I've been going to the other room...
I'll give him drugs, cause I'm not giving up my ceiling fan on high and the window open w/ the breeze...and I can leave the tv on all nite!!!
I sound heartless, but he's young, he'll adjust!!LOL

PS, Calypso may well be stressed if she's not used to you sleeping in another room....poor baby! I did have to laugh when Michael told me that punkie kept unplugging the fan, and then one falling off the dive gear and rolling under the night stand...he didn't think it was so funny though, but I just pictured it all in my mind and had to laugh.

Hey PS...I am an expert on surviving menopause...been there, done that! Believe me, you will FEEL insane for quite some time!! And then there's the irregular super-heavy periods...hot flashes, oh...it's a blast!!

Hope baby Bubbles and Calypso are both better soon...Kobi and PS..
