Good Morning, Eileen, and all to follow.

It was a beautiful weather weekend and outside was the place to be. Yesterday was gray and threatening rain that never came here.

Back to work today :-( Oh well...

Here's a picture from where my daughter Amanda went on Sat....Longwood Gardens...the place looks gorgeous!!

Morning Eileen and Donna. :-) Thanks Eileen! She's getting all grown up. :-)

I was just reading the news and saw there was another earthquake up by Tribs this morning. Very strange to think about quakes in that area.

Big full moon out there this morning. Looks beautiful.

Have a great day everyone. :-)

Good Morning Linda!!:-)
And Good Morning to Everyone!!:-)
Linda, it's your turn to post pics...your's are better than what I had to work with on Saturday!!:-)

I've been up FOREVER, as usual! I go to the doc on Wed., and I am going to ask him WHY I don't sleep anymore!! It drives me nuts! I lay there and think and think, watch "Roseanne" re-runs, "Animal Precinct" re-runs & let's not forget "The Steve Harvey Show"...I'm going crazy!
But I have gotten a lot done so far today...laundry, kitchen cleaned, cleaned the pool, emptied and cleaned Cliff's aquarium(he's in a "bowl" now), and I've cleaned up Calypso's puke 6 times!! It's been FABULOUS!!:-)

Good morning all. A little humor to while away a Monday morning.

The bus ride......

bus

Two bowling teams, one of all Blondes and one of all Brunettes, charter a Double-Decker bus for a weekend trip to Louisiana. The Brunette team rode on the bottom of the bus, and the Blonde team rode on the top level.

The Brunette team down below really whooped it up, having a great time, when one of them realized she hadn't heard anything from the Blondes upstairs. She decided to go up and investigate.

When the Brunette reached the top, she found all the Blondes in fear, staring straight ahead at the road, clutching the seats in front of them with white knuckles. the brunette asked, 'What the heck's going on up here? We're having a great time downstairs!'

One of the Blondes looked up at her, swallowed hard and whispered... 'YEAH, BUT YOU'VE GOT A DRIVER!'

Hey does Caymus take forever to dry after he has been in the water?? George is day caring a golden who takes forever to dry!! he is such a good boy though.. I think this doggie day care might be a new business for us..!! it's kind of nice to give the dogs back to the owners and not have to worry about feeding them and what to do while on vacation!! i'll take photos of Cooper next time he is here which is probably tomorrow.. he looks just like a young Caymus.

Because Caymus spends so much time in the water, his coat repels water, he shakes, and he's dry. No smell, no mats, just a big fluffy baby.

Used Spam for sale.

I dont' understand why this doggie, Cooper should be a wet mess when he gets out of the water then.. he loves the water and is in it as much as he can be.. he went in this morning at about 10am and never really dried until 4;30 this afternoon.. he went home at 5.. do you rinse Caymus as soon as you get home from the beach??
his owners are going to have him shaved for the summer apparently he loves to have less hair..

I talked to Erin, my granddaughter tonight, well 2 times. :-) Once, when Heather was cooking the cake she had to ask me for instructions then I talked to Erin. I told her Happy Birthday and she said back, "Happy Birfday Mimi!" She doesn't get it yet. lol So anyway, we sent her a Little Mermaid singing card and the first Little Mermaid movie. So she called me back just now, and was so excited talking about fish. :-):-):-) She still doesn't understand the "birthday" thing, but it's OK, she is just 3 now. And amazingly, Heather got her ex, Erin's dad, to come over for birthday cake and presents. And he didn't even act like a butthead.

Well, the sun is finally going to set, and Larry went to the last part of the HOA meeting, and a chicken stir fry with a spinach salad with black olives and avacados is waiting, but I'm dipping in the salad bowl. I think time for another glass of wine.

Hot enough to swim, they're sure swimming at the community pool, but then, when are they not! I guess I've acclimated, and I need it to be 90 weatherwise, and almost 90 waterwise.

Have a great evening, all of you.

Thanks, Linda.
Our bed is high for little Yorkins BUT we do have puppy stairs/steps for them to use. So far she's only been on the living level with us. We have 3 finished floors so I'll be carrying around an extra 6 pounds tonight and tomorrow :-)

I also made these fabric covered, foam cubes (12x12)for the sofa and love seat in the living room. I upholstered them to match and they're perfect for little furkids. So far she's eased her way down the couch once and up zero times :-) We're having to really be vigilant tonight. SIGH.....long night is only beginning.

Thanks again for the hugs; I just passed them along to the patient!
