Good Morning everyone, I had a good diet week...I hope you all did, too....remember not to let the weekend ruin your diet, but also remember not to let your diet ruin your weekend...life is short, do the right thing, appreciate the little things and ENJOY!

A little happy music from my younger days...sorry I'm not into the hard rock stuff.

:-)

Well I'm not going that far....wait - yes I am or at least close. We are doing 6 miles (9.656 KM) walk tomorrow and then 5 miles (8.046KM) on Sunday.

And tomorrow night is the prom. The "boys" are cooking for the girls tomorrow night. They are making Rolled Chicken Washington with rice and Goat cheese and cranberry salad in Paremsean cheese baskets. The appetizer is Bleu Cheese Terrine, and the dessert is Bananas Foster. I'm glad I won't be around for that part - LOL! And I'm glad they are not doing that part at our house. One round of fire alarms in the house is enough for the week.

Hi, thanks for the words of encouragement Donna. I'm finally seeing some good numbers on the scale. Our trip to Greece is on May 1 and I wanted to be a lean mean dancin' machine by then. Looks like I'll be OK. I'm trying to remember that every weekend doesn't have to be a celebration and eat regular healthy, lo cal meals. That way, when a real celebration comes along, I can relax and enjoy it.

I want to go dancing tonight if Steve's up to it. We'll get out and walk or maybe even hike this weekend if the weather cooperates. I'm not sure what the rain picture is going to be for us east coasters.

My wife has been on a diet since January, lost 20 lbs and is skinnier than she's ever been since I've known her. I started my diet and exercise beginning of April and have lost 8 lbs. Should be down to 190 by the time we hit Bonaire. :-)

I know what you mean about the weekend, that is the hardest for me. I told myself 3 weeks ago no more pizza until I hit 190 so I'm trying hard to get there. I like my pizza. ha!
