BH, I like that idea, but it might take a lot of valve stems to pull that off. Maybe we can start a new product, Nitrox Valve Stems. Technically it would be anti-nitrox valve stems because tires do better with less oxygen instead of more... details, details.

Just now having mine and y'all are ALL GONE! Well! (said indignantly!)

I'm home now. George just called. His best friend, Gene, his ONLY friend, just died. They talk to each other all the time, on the phone. He moved up to PA a few years ago, but they talked a couple times a day. Yesterday he couldn't talk because he was too tired.
Gene found out he had cancer a few months ago, but all that did was make Gene and George closer. They started planning dive trip to Bonaire together...He was going to come down here and stay with us for a while so they could work together in George's shop out back. This makes me so sad. Gene is the only person George ever really talks to. He's so upset, but he's still at work... He can't even go to Gene's funeral because he has to be at work. I wish I could change things. I don't want him this sad.

I'm still here, Kathy. Gosh, this is sad.

Hey PegiSue, so sorry for George losing his best friend. Stay strong, he'll need you to be. Not a good way to end the day, keep your chin up and be thankful for every moment. I'll keep you and George close in my thoughts....

What makes me so sad is that Gene asked George to do things for him, you know, after he was gone. Gene's wife now said "No" to the things he had asked of George. So, he feels he letting his friend down now.

Pegi, Big hugs coming to George and you too! I remember you telling me about Gene and George. Many folks don't ever get to have a friendship like Gene and George had, good friends like that are hard to find. I feel for George right now, that is a tough one.

I understand Pegisue. You've told us yourself about all the great things going on for you... George, the gallery, your art, your friends. We all love you PS. End of story.

PS....IMHO...The fact that George passed along the wishes means he has completed his part..and in fact he has not let him down because with his words and thoughts he has made his friends wishes known he can not control them being used or not.

PS, please give George a huge hug from me and all of us. Sounds to me like George is an awesome friend who did right by his buddy. I'm sorry that he's sad but even more saddened that he can't attend the funeral. His friend will be with him always; even more so than before.

He doesn't have time to read this thread yet...he has another interview today, in Winter Park. We sat here this morning and he just talked about Gene. I think it was good for him. There were some smiles & tears, and lots of good stories.
