Morning all! Our live alarm clocks went off, so I'm up. Any one else out there?

Good morning. I'm up getting ready to diving. I'm not sure I'm going to get wet, we may just be taking a drive. I looked at 5 different marine forecasts last night and no two of them agreed. So the surf is anywhere from none to 7' rollers. Even if the surf is done the visibility may be trash from rain and snow melt.

It's also very hard to talk myself into getting in that frigid pea soup after recently diving in the warm gin water of Bonaire. There's also a severe lack of critters this time of year (no lobsters, a few crabs, possible clouds of shrimp and nudibranches}. I may have to wait a bit more for the memories to fade.

Dive dive dive!!!! OMG! I would kill to dive today. We are actually contemplating calling the dive shop to see if they are going to the pool today, just so we can get wet.

Ouch Donna, I hope the person was ok.

I'm leaning toward diving now. It does not look bad. A little chop, but the vis is another story. We'll see.

I'm up here. My father-in-law took a fall down some steps and broke his hip in three places last week, had surgery to put a metal plate and pins in. Operation went o.k., but yesterday, he started losing feeling in one arm, hands and partial on the other arm, hand. Not good news, waiting for a neurologist to come in and see what is going on. I don't get that they are making him wait till Monday, but I am told that that is the way it is with socialized medicine, he lives in Canada. Guess we don't know how good we really have it here in the states, getting medical care in a lot more timely fashion... My fil is 79 y.o. presently.

Hubby is going up to visit for a few days to see him and hopefully get a chance to talk to the doctors and also I think it is nice for him to be with his mom for support too. I am feeling quite grateful for my good health right now.

I've been up for sometime now. I just wish I could sleep past 6:00 AM. It is very frustrating when you can sleep you can't. Anyway, I am going to mow the lawn for the first time then do my taxes. God bless America.

Good morning kids. Raking the lawn, taking Caymus for his run / swim. Work on the weeks menu. Watch a movie, take a nap, start diner. Who knows after that.

Cecil, just a few rollers. Not to bad at all. No sun, slight sea breeze. It's cool.

Enjoy your day.

Cecil, hope you get in your dive. Diving will have to wait here for me. I am a warm water wuss, won't even think about diving here in Jersey!

Steamcleaning carpets is the name of the game here today for me. Gotta do one job, then will do my family room downstairs.

Took care of the grass yesterday.

Tribs, sorry about the snow again...:-(

I'm up sort of.... I have made it to the couch to watch the sun come up :-)
Once it's light out I can't sleep. Although I probably would have slept a few minutes more if the animals hadn't woken me :-) Sorry bout the snow Tribs... it's hard to fathom since it's gone straight to summer here. Mosquitos and all!!

Cecil...that doesn't look like dive weather to me...brrrrrrr

The only plan on our plate is 2 hour walk at 4pm ---- the rest of the day is FREE FORM
oh and of course....
BLAME IT ON SOMEONE ELSE DAY!!!!!

It's Rasta's fault that I'm awake and my friend Jim's fault that I feel fuzzy (dang 50th bday party)

Debbie I'm so sorry about FIL. We were just having a conversation last night about the same thing but it was here with an HMO. My friend has had bouts of vertigo and called to see the doctor.... no such luck.
Anyway, I hope Greg can help and his dad heals quickly.

Buenos Dias!!

Debbie, hope your father in law gets better. BTW how is your granddaughter.

I have to do a translation and hopefully meet w/Bill and Donna Goodwin for dinner. They go to Bonaire twice a year and I met them through this thread.

Have a lovely day - hugs to all:-)

Elvira, seems you are taking your BP meds and looks like all is well?

OK, back to work for me.
Tribs, just sing "Let is snow, let is snow."
Bonaire is so close for you.

Hola Jerry, I am feeling better, trying to do different things to help with BP. Though work is a little stressful now! I have a few things to look forward for the coming months -- Rafa and Tamara will be back in Georgia to stay as of June and Mr. D bought the new BMW 1 series to pick-up in Germany so we are off at the end of June to Munich and travel to Italy, Austria and Switzerland for some days with the new car.
Life is good :-) :-)

Good morning all,
Donna, don't get too busy.
Sorry to hear about the FIL, Debbie. Hope he will be OK.
Go Cecil! Put on another layer. A sweater maybe.
Jim, me too. I hate not being able to sleep in.
Tribs, I feel your s**w pain. Enough is enough.
Jerry, Your Sunday sounds great (except for the raking part).
Boom, thank you for observing BLAME IT ON SOMEONE ELSE day. This is an important day and we should all take the time. I would have posted earlier, but my sister called (see how easy it is).
Elvira, it is so good to hear from you and that you're feeling better. Have you been out dancing lately?
RosAnne, "nothing planned" is my favorite activity.

Hey Steve, not have not been dancing - I usually dance in the kitchen when I am cooking. I like to cook and put music on and that keeps me going.

Hola RosAnne!

Well, Louise did not recharge the batteries in the lawn tractor, so now I have to just hang around and wait. I wish she would pay more attention to the upkeep of my tools!

Sweetheart, the gearbox is leaking oil.

I'm here, too, trying to get my business tucked in so I can leave it for two weeks. Lots of little calls to make and books to close.

I always get uncharacteristically anxious before a trip, worry about the cats and my Mom and my business, like the world won't be able to do without me for two weeks. Then you can't pry my fingers off the departure gate to get me home again. Poor Eric.

CANNOT BELIEVE it's snowing on you guys. As Rosanne said, it's in the 80's here. I took coffee on the deck and threw peanuts to the squirrels, enjoyed the morning sun...

Cynde, and Michael, we're all thinking about you, hoping you're doing ok, sending good thought...

Hi, everyone! Hope your FIL will be OK Debbie. Socialized medicine can have its drawbacks. We are "spoiled" here in the US...those of us who have health insurance or Medicare, etc.

Boom...mosquitos in California!!??? Get out! I have only "met" ONE mosquito in my Left Coast travelers and I think it followed me from NJ to the Left Coast! LOL.

I guess you have had lots and lots of rainfall to cause skeeters to breed. Yuck...hate them! That is the State of NJ Bird...the skeeter!

Jerry....one of these days all of the Ladies on BT are going to form an alliance with Louise....watch out if/when that happens! LOL.

Elvira, so glad to hear you are doing well with the new medication. That's wonderful that it's working well for you. What a wonderful trip you have to look forward to!!

Tribs...snow....yech! It was gorgeous here yesterday (NJ) but today is partly, partly and much cooler...keep having temp swings of 20-25 degrees every other day this "spring"....we've had a couple of spring days but not as many as we should. It's NJ tho...that's what happens usually....winter/summer and no real spring/fall. Very wet here this year...ever since last fall...ice, snow, rain. Enuff!!!

Cecil, go for it!! Dive, dive, dive!! PICs, please!

Howdy, Jim...wish I could arise earlier than my body likes to....I am a nightowl by nature and mornings are very rough for me. LOL. I've alwasy been nocturnal...Mom was that way, too. Hard getting up early every day for work and weekends I tend to "relax" and stay in bed beyond the "normal" weekday hour of awakening. Can't wait to retire so I can rest when I want to and not be dictated by the clock (work, etc.)

Have a great Sunday, everyone!! I'm listening to Sean Paton's Forum Antilles radio show on Mega FM (live stream from Bonaire) right now. Makes me feel closer "to home" every day. A little bit of Bonaire comes to me every day that way. Ayo! Carole

We blew off the dive, pretty churned up. We hoped in a plane and did a road trip instead.

Alaska???

I swear it was taken today by me.

I got Louise a new skill saw this afternoon. Now when I take my nap she does not have to ask my permission to use my saw.
