Lol, CB. :-)

It's so windy here today I've already got a bit of sunburn thru my coppertone. Larry's gone to Lowe's to buy a bug zapper, and it'll probably take him hours, 'cause he can never leave there with just what he went for. :-) (Like me and Wal Mart!)

I also think 3:00 on a Saturday is late enough to have a nice rum and ginger ale. :-)

And he never returned.

Kathy, it's in the 80's here today. I don't think we're done with the colder weather yet, but it's a nice break. I'm trying to get my legs something other than corpse white...we'll be stepping off the plane at Flamingo International next Saturday....

I'm with Larry....Lowes is to me what Nordstom's is for some women.

Jerry, Eric likes to go hang out with the manly men at Camp Four in Yosemite(climbers camp), but he calls me about four times a day...funny...

I'm thinking of Tom eating whatever he wants today with his daughter. Here, it's broccoli and wild rice for me, and Human Tuna for the cats....party on....

CB, does Eric rock climb?

Jerry, he's crazy for it. It's the old Freudian split....ocean for me, mountains for him.

I climbed for about three years til I was absolutely sure I hated it, then said, "Go ahead, Honey....come back in one piece.".

He doesn't do multiday climbs, but does 16 - 18 pitch day climbs.

I remember some pics of you climbing, yes?

Bakin' Olivia's Birthday cake now. Tomorrow we are having her party with my Mom & Dad!! I just bought her an IPod Nano that will play 2000 songs!! I want to know how anyone can have 2000 songs that they would EVER want to listen to!! Especially if you are ELEVEN!!!! She only knows 20 songs, I think...

Who cares!!! She is a HAPPY GIRL!!:-)

Happy Belated Birthday to Olivia! I hope her cake comes out great! (I hope she's not at Deland Middle School in view of recent news items.....)

Kira's elementary school carnival was today - I took the kids around while their mom worked the ticket booth. Pony rides, games, etc - one nature guy had a display of snakes, bugs and an alligator - about 18 inches. Alex - 2 yrs - liked that one the best! Apparently we spent too much time in the sun - because John's been calling me a redneck since I got home.

Then John and I went to the pool store and spent our retirement fund... Bought an automatic cleaner - much overdue - John is tired of playing pool boy because the lady of the house doesn't interact with the pool boy like they do in novels.... TMI! And we also scheduled an appointment to convert from chlorine to the salt system. Alex still has baby exema and the chlorine is really hard on her. It'll be worth the money just to have our baby girl not itching and scratching after being in the pool.

Then I went back over at 4 and brought the girls over. We planted flowers in the front yard garden, mulched, and watered, and it was HOT! Then we got in the pool for the first time this year. The air temp was 88, and the pool temp was up to 82, compliments of grandpa turning on the heater earlier this week. Kira is an incredible swimmer at 8. She is such a natural - and will be a scuba candidate as soon as she's old enough to. We'll keep Looe Key in mind for her - great reef at 35 feet!

So that was our day. Tomorrow will be as busy - probably won't find my way back to my computer until after the Mom and Dad come to collect the kids..... But I'm loving it! :-)

OMG! Gail your post brought up so much for me today... first off...
as I was driving the whopping 3 miles home from the gym this morning, through single family homes (note: NOT farm land) I saw a man in a cowboy hat sitting atop a horse that closely resembled Trigger in front of a cute little Tudor home.
It was Surreal to say the least.

It's been a fun day.... long and my fingers have had too much wine to type much more..... two letters forward three backwards.
My appetizers and dessert were a SMASH!!!!

Good night for now..... see you tomorrow

BLAME SOMEONE ELSE DAY!!!!
