I was going to post a good night post on Friday's thread but Holy Moly it was already at 83!!!! I love it when a good conversation just takes over
We had such a wonderful night, just the Hubby, Puppy and me (the cats were both inside). The Ribeyes were beautiful, the broccoli perfectly steamed, grilled sweet onions with melted blue cheese and 2 bottles of nice cabernet sav....


Tomorrow promises to be busy, busy, busy and then a party at 3pm so.... I'll say my Hello's now and WooHoo!!!!
It's Saturday!!! (well, not here yet... but it will be God Willin'!!!)


Here's my Steve story.... A friend, who happens to be named Steve is a marathon runner. One of the biggest problems with running is when nature strikes (especially first thing in the morning, if you get my drift). Well, Steve was doing a run across the Golden Gate Bridge that started at the crack of dawn. At about a 1/4 of the way across nature took over and the need for a Morning Constitutional became front and center. From that point on he had a different gate and hence forth when my group is doing a long walk that starts early in the morning, that awful feeling has been lovingly called "a Stevie". True Steve Stories... Honest, I couldn't make that one up!! We even made up signs when we got close to Malibu on our Avon 3 Day Walk about Stevies... I'll have to try to find them

What are you doing today?????

Well I don't know too many "Steve's"...The guy that owns the shop next to mine "Steve's Downtown Music"...he's a character!! He is so stuck in the 80's!! The way he dresses, his red hair is real long and curly, but he puts "stuff" in it to keep it all stuck together in these really long ringlets!! He has a full kitchen set up in the back of his store and cooks all day. And a living room set up in the store, right in the front, and watches tv. He's got a parakeet, Sweety Bird, that hangs out with him...He's just a very unique guy!

But the GREATEST Steve I know is having a Birthday today, so....

Steve story: Wes' best friend Steve was at our house for BBQ and got blasted. One of my girlfriends was there and Steve was trying to impress her. Add plenty of alcohol and you have Steve mooning the moon! Ha!

There is a happy ending. After intensive traditional Hawaiian psychiatry, "Kiwi" as he is now known, regained half the use of his mental facilties and lives a semi-functional life in Fort Wayne, Indiana under the watchful eye of the local dive community.


I spoke to Steve before posting this to make sure it was OK to tell his story. He wanted to pass this on to you all.
