Good Morning to all my diet buddies (and anyone lurking about)...well I'm sticking with it...and feeling good...I hope with each other's support, we'll ALL succeed!!

Water, water, water!! I drink alot of water normally, but have been forcing myself to remember to drink enough daily because sometimes I get busy and forget (and constantly urinating is annoying!!):-)

Oh and 1 slice of packaged liverwurst on a 100 calorie bagel with horseradish mustard makes a nice, satisfying 3 pt sandwich for lunch...don't forget the sweet pickle!!

I need to go shopping and check out the Suzanne Sommers book...who wants to go shopping with me?? :-) :-) and to find some of that bread....we do have a big "healthy" dept in our Giant now, so I'll have to check there...they have a freezer section, too..

Happy diet day to all!!!!!!!! :-)

I walked around the lake last night with girlfriends, then came back and we took turns doing the ab roller and other yoga type stuff watching Idol Gives Back while Larry rode his bike. I feel GOOD this morning. :-)

On today's menu, yogurt for breakfast (the blackberry and pomegranite one), and a half a bagel during the staff meeting (we always have bagels at the staff meeting), then chickarina soup and wheat thins for lunch.

Stickin' to it! You can too. :-)

(PS Donna, careful with the titles!)

Morning Gals, I lost a pound yesterday, so that is better than gaining. Eggs for breakie today. Going to be nice here today for a change.

Off to see my granddaughter and drop off the chicken pot pie I made yesterday with some other stuff for Lydia. Got a job this afternoon, so will be busy, cutting out the quickie snacks that are not good is hard. Catch you all tomorrow.

I'm discouraged. I ate lightly yesterday, avoided all starches and bread. Had grilled brussels sprouts and a beet salad (with some feta cheese) for dinner, and danced 2.5 hours last night. When I got up this morning, the scale is up 1 lb. I know you're not supposed to weigh every morning, but that's how I keep track of trends. Then I get here and read all about you guys loosing while eating pasta and bagels and I just don't get it. I'm also coming down with another bladder infection so I'm feeling generally irritable. I forgot they are having a meeting here at work with a bigwig from DC and I'm dressed in loose slacks and a sweater. I'll have to hide this afternoon. Move over Jerry, I'm climbing under the desk too.

Joyce, I am not eating pasta nor bagels here. Wait till tomorrow, I bet it will show a loss on that darn scale. Sometimes it takes a couple days to show up, it is not always instant. Keep up what you are doing. It will show soon. :-) Drink lots of water and add some protein in there.

hey gang all this talk about diet, you really shouldn't diet as you mind is only tricking you, you need to get on a steady meal plan with lots of good healthy snacks, Back in the middle of November I embarked on a lifestyle change and its all about eating well balanced meals and snacks, added with steady exercise and making sure you find out what your basal rate is will determine your caloric intake. I have been on my holidays and went through Christmas and New Years as well as Easter. Total weight loss right up to now is 47 lbs and lost 21 inches overall so If you are into the weightloss get into a program that will measure your basal rate, but don't starve your self as we are on this earth for only an alotted amount of time , your supposed to enjoy it.
