Good Morning BT!!
It looks like it's going to be a beauty of a day. No big plans... deliver a few more papers and play in the yard :-)
How about you?

Very interesting about the delivery of the papers, I would enjoy living in a community/neighborhood like yours. Where I live - nothing and I really do not want to meet or get to know the neighbor next door (woman)

I enjoy talking/meeting elderly people, they have so much to say and you always learn something from them.

Good morning ladies.
Cleaning fish pond.
Cleaning Nicky's cage.
Smoking some chickens for Louise.
Some yard work. Clean up.
Taking Caymus for a beach run/swimm.
Beach pizza for lunch, Caymus loves that crap.
It's very cloudy, cold sea breeze.
We'll watch a movie this afternoon, "Reservations required." Take a nap, cook diner, clean up and go to bed, then it's MONDAY!

Have a nice day:-)

Hola SSG!!! I tell you, the woman who started the whole thing just amazes me. She grew up in the Phillipines and believes so strongly in the strength of community - you just can't help but get involved!

What are your plans for the day??

Hi every buddy! I wrote two pop quizzes this morning and tweaked a lecture. Now I am going to do some grading and then....don't laugh...I'm off to judge cheer/dance try outs. I was a cheerleader for 5 years and poms for 2 years and our university is holding try outs today. It should be a blast. Bet you would have never guessed I was a cheerleader. LOL!

Morning Everyone. Today is a cold, rainy day here in South Jersey, no outside play. I am just going to do some housework and recoup after the last few days. Been so busy, now time to take it easy a bit.

Been looking at airfare this morning. Thinking of going to visit my daughter in Texas mid April. She really would like a visit from me, so I am very happy to oblige. Haven't seen her since Christmas break.

It's freezing, I got wet playing with the fish, add a very stiff wind off the water and you have one very cold boy. Warm up a bit and back out I go.

Does anyone else miss KIV?

Morning everyone. :-)
Not much on the agenda for here, today. PegiSue's storms came in late last night - felt like a hurricane with all those strong winds!
Gonna be low 80's with some more rain this afternoon...we've moved into typical FL rainy season weather, which is good - better than a drought!

Larry's been ordering all kinds of scuba stuff this morning. He's getting giddy about scuba season. :-)

OK, back outside for me to birdwatch and read the paper. Laaaazy morning. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning Tara, Elvira, Jerry, Tribs, and Debbie! (and all to follow:-)) Sorry Kathy, you snuck in there while I was posting:-)

Today is not nearly as lovely here as yesterday (mid 50's to low 60s) but it's close. The final vestiges of winter are melting... the ice in my barn from the flood is finally thawing :-).

I'm going to see a community theater play that 2 of my friends are either acting in or directing (South Pacific). After that, it's Italian food with my Bonaire roomies to exchange pictures for a collaborative DVD slide show of the trip set to music:-).

I'm dog sitting this weekend for my housesitter's female dog (their boy had to go back to the breeders for the weekend since Jingles doesn't get along with other boys and 3 would have been waaaaaayyyyy too many in my little house). Jingles and Grace are crashed out sleeping right now :-), but Grace is he77 on cats and I haven't seen but a fleeting glimpse of my kitties since she arrived Thursday pm:-(. It'll all be back to normal Monday evening.

I'm off to clean the litterboxes and then do more laundry and dishes. So exciting, isn't it??:-)
Happy Sunday all!

Good Morning! Tribs...cheerleaders unite! (Don't tell anyone but I was a cheerleader for Pop Warner and then for 3 years in high school!)
Today is baseball picture day and helping Rianna put the finishing touches on her Science Fair Project "How Does Light and Air effect the decomposition of Foods", I've had rotting food in various places around my house for the last 3 weeks!
The weather is cloudy but warming up, it got up to 75 yesterday and the kids were swimming! Have a wonderful day everyone.

Still kinda overcast here, and the birds are all out. The white pelicans and storks are hanging around the house.

Nice to see so many smiling BTrs
The cranes are beautiful Timmmmy.

Guy said they went on a call yesterday out at the beach by UCSB (Del Playa for those who know it) and it was like spring break. He said it was packed with nothing but college girls (I'm sure there were boys too but somehow they didn't make the radar). It also just happened to be one of the firefighters last shift, so they decided it was a good call to go on --- shameless!!!
Time to make something good for breakfast :-) :-)

Morning all! Jerry, give caymus a wet hug for me.

Kathy, how was your party?

Cheerleaders of BT, I love it! I was a cheer leader in 7th grade, but I did have my own aerobic cable TV show for 8 years in the 80s..."Aerobiclee" was one name, and "to your health" was the other, out of Lanham Maryland!

OK, off to go get a new dryer, the old one has bit the dust for good and laundry is backed up.

Check back in later...

SSG, how's it going with the meds?

Terry spotted one of those a couple of years ago while we did a nature walk in one of our large parks. It was about12"-14" beak to tail.

Sorry I wasn't really HERE today, it's been on again off again, an hour between rain showers. :-) I talked to both daughters, though, DEEP conversations, and let's just say that we are glad I'm that kind of mom and they're that kind of daughters.

It's starting to rain again, "TIN ROOF....RUSTED!" at the Love Shack. :-):-):-)

Timmmmmy, I LOVE the pileated woodpecker, or as you called him rightly, a peckerwood. lol

We had a place along Choccoloco Creek in Anniston, AL, (where I used to live), where the pileatedes were making a great colony, so people couldn't do anything to their land as the woodpeckers were protected. I used to think of woodpeckers as a sign, as I rarely seem them anymore, I just look for red or pink colored birds for a sign of happiness to come. :-).

I will never forget how the Anniston Star quoted verbatim, a woman calling them "red headed pecker woods". lol

It's raining like crazy here. Lovin' it.

I hate to give up Sunday for Monday as it is, but this has been a really nice weekend. Like 8 on a scale of 10.

Nighty night all. Dinner's almost done, but I think we're going to play in the PURE rain. :-)
