WE HAVE TOUCH DOWN!!!
Lydia Grace came into the world at 5:09 Daylight eastern standard time
weighing 7lbs 2oz and is a whopping 22 1/2 inches long..
Mother is very tired after 3 days of active labor.. Lydia has a full head of hair and a cleft in her chin just like her big brother.
Grandma Deb is on Cloud nine and thinks this is a terrific birthday present..
Congratulation Grandma Deb and Grandpa Greg, and Uncle Brandon!!!

It's official! I am now 50 y.o. and a grandmom all in one day!! I now have a granddaughter, Lydia Grace, arrived officially at 5:02pm today after trying to arrive a few days earlier, but decided to hold out till my birthday! She is such a cutie! She has jet black curly hair and a full head of it! I actually got to see her come into the world. Lots of tears of joy when she did, let me tell you. I had no idea that I would be allowed to stay and watch the birth. Laura's parents were there as well, we had a big cheerleading squad going on for sure.

Oh, and she has her daddy's dimple in her chin too!
She did make us wait, but worth every minute of it. Will definitely post pics as soon as I get them on the computer and yes, lots of pics were taken.

Thanks for all the well wishes, I told my son and Laura that I have a lot of BT'rs waiting to hear the news over here on BT! :-)

Thanks, Freddie!!! O.k. The first pic has my son, Sean, Laura, me and Lina, (Laura's mom) all after the blessed event.

The second one was how we spent most of the day yesterday, Lina and I switched places holding Laura up to push, Phew!, I didn't even have the baby, but sure felt like it.

The other ones were of Lydia Grace after they cleaned her up and I finally got a chance to hold her, Oh, what a joy it was to just be able to share her coming into the world! Nothing else mattered but that little baby.

I called my son today and ped. doc checked her out and all is well with her, great news for a week early! Mommy is tired and sore, learning how to breast feed, lots of bonding time. I am so very proud to be a grandmom. Yes, indeed! :-)
