our houses, we all ran outside. The neighbors said the space shuttle just re-entered the atmosphere, we have no news of that. I don't know, that felt wrong, like an earthquake or a bomb with aftershocks. Larry ran out with his biggest dive light and I was looking out the other side.

I'm hoping all is ok, but I'm telling you, that rocked our neighborhood bigtime.

It was the shuttle. :-) Wow, it scared the crap out of everybody! Even down in Bradenton they got the sonic booms.

What was weird about it was the news channels didn't report on it for like 15 minutes...so we were literally in the dark besides guesses that it was the shuttle! There are some funny stories about how people reacted around Riverview and Brandon, where the booms were felt/heard the hardest. :-)

First it was Tribs and the mysterious light outage. Now the sky is shaking in Florida?!?
Terry and I were waiting for it. I love it when the shuttle takes off at night, too.

PegiSue, Chakeezie (sp?) Cheeze got the boot. Too bad. I thought the other one (nice blond girl) should have left instead.

I felt it too, Kathy, here in Orlando! And heard the boom. I didn't know the shuttle was coming in - but recognised the sonic boom!
