I'll be happy to take all the orange jelly beans. We have our Easter next month, Greek Orthodox - so we get to have jelly beans and chocolate bunnies all over again then.

Goodmorning BT'ers! I was gone last night and missed all the fun I guess. I want to let you know What I posted was not a preaching, It was a verse. I thought if things were "family Friendly" it was legal. I don't try to offend anybody and figured if you didnt know what it was I wrote or weren't a christian, you'd just move on. Geez, who-da thunk it wud make a few so mad. I wrote Seb an email saturday very early in the morning to tell him I did not mean to offend him and it was just what I felt like writing. I did not post it "for him". Maybe he didnt get my email. I dont sit here in my chair wondering how to make Seb mad, LOL. I wonder why atheists dont care if I am offended by them, but the mention of God sends them on a mission. I want to say I really enjoy the "relationships" on this board. I want to say that as long as I am not posting non-family oriented subjects, keeping it clean, a little quote from my fav book shouldn't be a problem. I dont want people to be upset, and I feel I do my Part in "keeping it light", LOL. After all, I am the BB's unofficial back up!! I hope everyone has a wonder day, Happy Easter. In MY opinion, it is a Holyday, not a holiday, I will NOT be offended if you don't agree with me. Happy egg hunting.

We had a lovely sunrise at the beach
The moon was still huge when we got there
lots of people too!
The sun took it's time coming out to play
seabirds and waves
Our impromptu family photo
what a sorry easter bonnett
Just in time, the sun came out from behind the mountains before Guy had to leave for work
another glorious day

It's going to be another spectacular day here. Lots of gardening, painting and playing to do....
Enjoy your Sunday everyone. I'll probably check back in later :-)

Morning all! I'll take the red, pink, and purple jelly beans please!

Boom, fabulous sunrise! The sunset last night down here was spectacular! Bright orange sun with no clouds dipping below the sea...wow...

We are going to dick and grace's today for dinner. We don't celebrate Easter, but we are going to have a fabulous time with friends and food!

Hey Chick! Last night G & I ate dinner on the patio and I didn't have my glasses on. I thought there was a fire at the wharf with the moon rise - it was awesome!! My gosh we are being treated.
Say Hi to Dick and Grace. Are you having Drunken Ham?
It's well into the 80's here - Rasta is getting a bath today.

Boom, it was bright big and orange wasn't it!

I'll say hi to them for you. Don't know what's on the menu. It will be their kids, grandkids, and us (they've sort of adopted us...lol).

We took momo and buttercup to the boat yesterday, and then for a dinghy ride. We went over to the shoal that is exposed at low tide, no boats, no dogs, so we let the girls run free. they waded out in the water with us it was so funny! Weiner dogs in the surf...picture that...lol. Wish I would have had my camera. Got them back to the boat and took them in the shower to wash the sand off of them. They were pooped when we got home...lol!

We've been taking them all for walks to get them in shape, and hopefully lose weight along with us...

I don't think you could have asked for a better adopted family :-)

A few friends asked me over for Easter dinner but I think I'm just going to stay here with my girl and the boyz. It's so peaceful and quiet.... every once in a while the little girl two doors up lets out a delighted squeal that brings on smiles galore, the birds are in full harmony, it's truly a beautiful day here. Too bad G is at work!

Sounds like Kini had a nice Saturday, too.

Quiet day here in the heartland. Peaceful is good.

Sorry Kiwi, but you live in a beautiful part of the country too!
Thanks Linda. I do love my puppy :-) Her hearing has just about gone in the last month or so and we haven't quite adjusted to it. We kept calling to her at the beach and then finally going over and physically bringing her back to our group. I think she wanted to join the church services going on :-)

I love seeing where everyone lives - this country is so diverse and beautiful everywhere (well, okay some places you have to look really hard but even there you can find beauty!).

I can't tell, are those spoonbills pink? I think Kathy or Gail posted pics of them last year or so... very lovely birds.

I just finished giving Rasta a bath... she looks so good we might have to go visit Guy at the fire station :-)

Tara, I was just thinking that all of our BTer's live in beautiful places. People laugh when I tell them Kansas is beautiful, but just take a walk in the Flint hills or in Lawrence (go Jayhawks!!!) and you'll see.
Yes the spoonbills are pink. Their bodies are a light pink and they have dark pink feathers on their wings. I love to watch how they feed. Back and forth in the water with their bills.

Happy Easter t'y'all :-):-)

I got up early to watch the F1, wasn't as exiting as I thought it was going to be.
We had a dusting of snow here last night but the sun was shining today so I went for a nice long walk with my better half :-) over 2 hours, but no camera!! so that was my exercise for today.

Only a small box of chocs each, so not having to feel bad about eating too much choc!! :-) and they've not discovered Jelly beans here yet, thank goodness cos that would be my downfall no matter what colour!:-)

Your Sunrise pictures are absolutely wonderful Tara, and I see you both still have that Bonaire smile :-):-)

a nice and ,hmmm trying to think of the right word!!, 'poignant' palm picture Linda

Peace and happiness to you all :-)

Hiya Roy - you remind me that I'm too narrow minded in my earlier post about the beauty where we live.... not just this country but indeed the world 'round :-) :-)

I'm off to plant a few things - all willy-nilly !!!! I love not really knowing what I'm doing- I don't follow the 'rules' and sometimes it works!!!

See ya'll in a bit!

Happy Easter, Everyone! I am sure a whole bunch of chocolate bunnies have lost their ears by now. :-)
I spent a wonderful day yesterday with my son his very pregnant wife, Laura. The baby is getting so big now, they may have to induce, she is going for ultrasound mid-week and if so, she will be having the baby on my birthday (big 50 here) That would so cool!!! She is a very tiny woman and the docs fear the baby won't be able to make it out the normal way. Trying to be family friendly here...

I am very excited on being a first time gramma here! When I heard it may also be on my B'day, I just was thrilled. Took lots of baby things over to their house, chatted, relaxed, went out for lunch, had big bro help me out with an Easter gift for his little bro, and it was a bit hit after he got today.

No company for dinner today, just us three and that is nice, still going all out for a really nice meal and I think Hubby and son were glad I still was making a big dinner with just the three of us. We don't have to have company or family over to still enjoy a nice meal. We are all special too! :-) Feeling the love here today and wishing you all a very good Sunday and hope you all enjoy what is left of the week-end.

Hey Kristi...sorry if I misread you, too....I'm glad to hear we have something in common. :-):-)

I truly respect and love everyone on this board and I am glad we can all still be friends even if some of us have to agree to disagree!

Ok, time to jump in the shower and head to Dick and Grace's for some friends and food:-)

I soooo don't have a sweet tooth, but I'm imagining earless chocolate bunnies everywhere. :-)

It was a beautiful day here, as Linda illustrated. We watched 3 wives and all the kids in the pool frolicking, while the men were hiding eggs, and the men said "READY!", and the women and children got out and got dressed in white flowy dresses or white shorts, and everyone was barefoot, and we watched them find eggs. :-) Was nice. Like summer, already.

We also watched a movie, "Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest." 3 hrs long!

I'm cooking so non traditional tonight, chicken breasts in Mango Coconut sauce (YUM), pasta with really great cheeses, and something else, yet undecided. Probably a salad of some sort, who knows.

Anyway, hope you all had a great day.

The sun is not set yet, so there's still time to toast, and relish in the day. I'm going to. Hope you all find the time, too. Monday comes TOO soon!

:-)

No black jellybeans here!! They are all reserved for my dad. Me, I'll stick with the red ones - or the popcorn-flavored ones, as they taste just like popcorn balls. My boys have a marshmallow peep that they've been mailing back and forth over the last five years between South Dakota and Nevada. It went back to Nevada this Easter. (Crunch!)
