I went to a square dance festival this weekend for the first time and had a blast. The highlight for me was this "hot hash" square. The caller calls very fast and it takes lots of concentration to keep up. Luckily one of the people in the square set up a little camera and videoed the whole thing. What a thrill to be able to re-live it (even the part where I went the wrong way)

Hey Joyce! Great dancing. We had to take square dancing for a few weeks in P.E. class at high school. Of course that was in Kansas. I learned early on that I have two left feet and a short memory.

What fun my dad left when I was a baby so whenever there were Father/Daughter thingies, the husband of our babysitter would fill-in (Love you Mr. Stewart!). Some of my fondest memories are square dancing at the Brownies dances.
I am not any good at all but that's besides the point.
