When I'm not underwater I can often be found riding one of my two motorcycles.

As a motorcyclist I have been always baffled that other drivers don't see us on the road. Here is a pretty good test from England...and NO it isn't one of those 'ghost scares you' deals. This test is totally legit. Can you count the basketball passes made by the team in the white jerseys?

I got 12; the one not seen could easily be missed and killed. I gave up my bike years ago for much that reason.

I got 12 also & did NOT see the bear since I was concentrating on something else. I road for over 20 years & never had an accident. I then had an epiphany that my time to stop had come & never got on another bike. At times I do miss it, but really there are just too many crazies out there.

The eternal problem, Vince, did you have a 20 year safety record, or a 20 year lucky streak?

I had exactly the same profile as Vince, and even at my age I still occasionally have the urge. One thing I did notice was that when "Head light on" became mandatory there was a tremendous drop in left turns in from of you. The same thing is true with cars. I'm a big fan of "headlights on".

Maybe we'll finally arrange that NY mini meet this year.

I did not see the bear. I even replayed the video as I was sure they added the bear only in the 2nd take. Nope he was there the first time around too. Can't believe I did not see that, amazing how the brain works.

Tom, I meant while on the bike, instead of training wheels. Make cornering exciting again!

I thought it was a gorilla, not a bear. MAybe I have to look again.
