hey, Bruce, the turntable from Amazon that you recommended works great. What a time sink, though. Wish I'd discovered it during the rainy season.

This thing is built for the technically impaired, which I am. The only thing I regret is allowing it to make Itunes the default player...now I'm gonna have to change that somehow, or copy everything into another player that ia like better.

God does not Itunes suck badly? I really, really hate that program. My recommendation Barbara uninstall and start again. I would not of ever used Itunes except Sue insisted on a Ipod Shuffle for Christmas, that's a nice little toy but the software is just terrible.

CB, you're scaring me now. I happen to love iTunes but I also happen to love wasabi chili peppers.....:-)

Barbara, I like mine too. I've recorded a couple hundred songs already and not even a hickup. I'm not bothering to use Audacity as what I'm getting are good results. I have a Mac and love ITunes. I was a Windows user for years and hands down the Mac is a better computer. I have heard of people migrating from Win to Mac but never the other way around. Yeah those files probably can't be converted from the Mac ITunes .aac encoded file to a Win MP3. Maybe try to find a software converter but I doubt it will work. Yesterday I converted an old Brian Adams album. Nice hearing those old vinyl's again.

Sorry for the double post. I'm still converting and have the closet door opened in my "office" where my vinyl is and also my scuba stuff. Every time I open the door I smell neoprene. I love the smell of neoprene in the morning. Don't like the smell of Cecil's neoprene in the dive locker though ;*)

Hey, Jerry, I was transferring "Slowhand" to digital and noticed that there is a picture of Bob on the inside of the album cover. I'm too dumb to post it, but I'll try to mail it to you.

Bruce, I'm not as mad at Itunes...turns out it copied all the stuff I was recording into my other player too and even added album art.

This is a pretty cool device, I have to say. And cheap!

Next month...VHS to Digital!

LP's sound good, but I have to say, my CD player blowes the LP's away.

If you tell me what CB stands for I'll send you a special wine.

Jerry, it's just my special, special BT name...you know how when you start posting on BT, Cynde, in her role as BT seductress, draws you out, asks you questions, gets you to take on some silly nickname? That woman should go into mafia recruitment or something. Well, I ended up being CB.

That little Sicilian vixen RosAnne taught me a new word today...omerta...never hear it before.

I'm gonna go teach, Jerry. When you come back, tell us how Saint Louise's job selection(I won't say search) is going.
