Here's another breakfast. Dang, I thought it would be a lunchie today, kids. Sorry..........

Sausage, Egg & Cheese Sandwich

1 uncooked lean turkey breakfast sausage patty
1 large egg white
1 whole grain English Muffin
1 slice (3/4oz) fat-free yellow American cheese

Set 3.5" round metal cookie cutter to one side in a nonstick skillet. Preheat pan over medium-high heat, mist skillet and inner ring of cutter with olive oil spray. Place sausage on one side of pan. Cooke 1-2 minutes per side, or until the sausage is no longer pink inside.

Drop egg white into cookie cutter. Cooke 1-2 minutes, or until egg white sets in middle and bottom start to brown. With knife, carefully loosen egg from cutter. Remove cutter and flip egg white. Cook 1-2 more minutes or until completely set. Remove from heat.

Toast muffin, assemble and enjoy :-)

Kobi, my donuts still have the sprinkles on them but, evidently the baker forgot to put the filling in - again. This has been happening (slurp) too often lately.

Tom you still have a little filling in your beard. You're gonna want to get all that before you go stomping in there complaining :-)

I've been good so far today: I had the gym this morning and UGGGGGGGHHH it was just too darned hard. Then, I had oatmeal with fresh blueberries and peaches :-) for breakfast - yummmmmy!

BUT, tonight I'm going to a Goddess Happy Hour - free appetizers and $5 Pink Drinks. I've got my Goddess boots on with a cute little dress --- look out girls here I come :-) Of course by the time I get to the HH, my feet will be killing me from these da** (sexy) boots. Sheesh!

Kobi, Judy, Liz... I'm using your countdown for mine too --- not going to Bonaire but Santa Barbara beaches are calling :-)

Yeah, like Jerry said we are here to help.

Good, bad or indifferent we are all examples, a few of us are good for scaring younger people into living normal lives. Imagine if yo Momma would have told you "If you don't behave you will turn out like those guys." (while pointing at us.).

Jerry, I forget whether the B.M. hmmmmm, coincidence that the initials for "Big Mac" are similar to the initials of ....... er, a body function? Me thinks not.

Waiting for my boss to bring me my thai curry shrimp, sushi and miso for my lunch. If she remembers to bring a Devil Dog or Yo-Yo for my dessert, I'll let her give me a pedicure later. If she brings me both a D.D. and a Y.Y., I will even wash my feet first. If she brings me two of each ..........
.
.
.
.
.
.
I will let her get in the jacuzzi with me, she so loves those bubbles:-) I know, she is lucky to have a sensitive guy like me:-)

Hey all - the Buddy BBQ sounds great.

I fell off the healthy wagon yesterday in a BIG, BIG way...no work out and gobbled down all the chocolate chip cookies that Midwest Express handed my way...along with chips, pretzels and way too much wine at dinner last night....traveling makes it SO HARD to be good!!!!

But, Kobi, you are right....the countdown is really beginning and Bonaire does equal swimsuits. Worse....those ever-unflattering wet suits....maybe we could start a business designing a more flattering wet suit for women????

Off to the gym...say hello to green salads today, my friends :-(

Tara, you sneaked in on me. The filling is for "zert". Boss called she was delayed but, is on the way:-) No D.D. or Y.Y. she said she was bringing "Moon Pies", I might still let her in the jacuzzi.

Liz, don't go crazy, have a "Beach Salad"?

Jerry, would you tell her how lucky she is, everytime I do she gives me this look http://www.oldbonairetalk.com/newsgroup/messages/23830/353788.jpg

I'm doing cereal for breakfast, Kellogg's Smart Start, with skim milk. Fills me up. I take my lunch too, brown bagging it, with Progresso Lite soup or a whole wheat sandwich (nutty with oats) with chicken or turkey (deli meat), and pickles or olives, and I throw in a yogurt for whenever I want it. Blueberry, can't remember the name, but it's GOOD for me. :-)

And I'm WALKING around this lake and dancing and lifting weights. Learned it's 1.9 miles around the lake. Just got back as a matter of fact, and it drizzled and my hair is wet, I don't care, a healthy supper is on.

I'm in a size 8 now, still have extensions though my hair being drawn so tight has grown crazily, and my doc prescribed B-12 shots 2 months ago, which makes my hair grow like crazy. I have to give myself a shot in the but* every other Saturday. That's because I'm perimenopausal and all that stuff.

I do a self check every day.

Am I happy?

Yes I am, and thank you God/Universe, for showing me what I needed to do, righting me and making me learn my lessons and change things. Though I have to wear 1.25 reading glasses to even post. :-)

49 doesn't suck as bad as I thought it would. I'm valued, at work and home, and I still get flirted with. :-) I'm careful about taking care of my body and face, and I taught that to my girls. It works, for them, too. I never imagined my blonde turning to silver this way, so right now I'm pretty much platinum blonde without bleach, but I am covering silver with my normal blonde color I've always been. I hate that the silver takes over so quick and makes me so platinum....but I guess it's better than the alternative.

And Larry still loves me inside and out, and so do my friends. Really, I love and I'm loved in Real Life, and that matters to me. And most important to being not overweight or in a bad place....I am well, at least, happy with myself. I've had some difficult clients lately, one with almost tourettes, she cant' stop herself from cursing people out, and she did that to me, yesterday. F bombs on me, but she regretted it. But I understand her history and her disability, and I forgave and hugged her today when she apologized. I'm no preacher, but you have to live each day and be happy, and that includes forgiving people, giving them a 2nd chance. Or 3rd, or 4th, depends on if they are related. :-)

It's workin' for me.

I hope it all works out for all of you, who are following this. Let's get down to our right weight, not get old before our time (classmates.com has shown me people my age that I went to school with, that I can't believe they look so...well, like they haven't taken care of themselves.)

I don't frown on people who show their ages, but I admire people who fight it. I guess that's it.

Good work Kathy :-)

That's it for me.... time to find my inner Goddess and see how long I'll last in these 4" heels. What in God's name was I thinking???

Have a great night all
btw- Roy, I just realized that in your opening post you said you had just finished your hour session..... Good on Ya!

Kathy - I've started buying that 12 grain bread - primarily for John - and he likes it. I prefer the Wonder pure white with no fiber or anything else.... but I'm learning to like the 12 grain. I've never been big on bread anyway.

I just purged the fridge today and tossed all of the yogurt - past expiration date! I guess I should have eaten them!

I still want to lose another 20 pounds - never to be a size 8 again, but to feel good in my skin for who I am, and for what my ancestors genes are in me.

And I certainly thank God for where I am, and how far I've come. I still have a long way to go - but if I didn't have more goals and dreams I could curl up and ...

Good thread today! With John's recent heart procedure, and my son having his stress test today, being healthy is most revelant. I picked the girls up from school so Chudney could be with Josh at his test, and I really, really know that I want to be around to see what these kids accomplish in their lifetime! I want to be a very old Grandma!
