Then post lyrics from one of your favorite songs.

I'll start

"There’s kissing in the valley,
Thieving in the alley,
Fighting every inch of the way.
Trying to be tender
With somebody I remember
In a night that’s always brighter’n the day."

Tom, That would be "Seven Days" by Robert Dylan!

How about an easy one..

Well my baby is so delicious
Tho she very rarely smiles
And she follows a tradition
Somewhere near Miss Mona Lisa's style

Gosh Tom,

I don't have a clue on that one! How about making it a little easier, and choosing something from the 70's for us old farts?

Meryl, you are correct. Sadly, I am drawing a blank on the lyrics you provided.

Tad, come on dude, you and I are the same age.

I may have thrown you a curve ball as it is a more East Coast band...only hint your getting.
You can move on and use mine as a bonus question.

Meryl, I am from the east coast but I am stumped on this one! Here is one from my FAVORITE band of all time....I just watched a documentary on them the other night.

The lunar landing of the dentist convention
Italian mobster shoots a lobster
Seafood restaurant gets out of hand....

Okay, let's try this one.

I'd like to swim
in a clear blue stream
where the water is icy cold

and go to town
in a golden gown
and have my fortune told

just once
just once
just once before I'm old

Barbra! Much More. I only know this because my mother was a Barbra Streisand freak and use to go around singing her songs to us when we were little! Thanks for the neat memory!

Memories like the corner of my mind...(just joking!)

How about this:
You can step outside your little world
You can talk to a pretty girl
She's everything you dream about
but don't fall in love

RosAnne, you are not that old, where did you listen to The Tubes, in history class? Oh yeah the song is Shes a Beauty. Talk to you Later (pun intended).

Almost forgot

"There've been times when I have stumbled over my mistakes
There've been times when I have fallen flat on my face
But you tell me there's never been a day like that for you
Then I'll stop and listen to what you think I should do"

This is an easy one.

"Don't rush me, just this once
I want to make this moment last
Slow down the pace, there's no hurry
I can't let another pass me by again
Let me be the one to say when I've had enough"

The great Santana "Hold On"

heres another...

Heirs of a cold war, that's what we've become
Inheriting troubles, I'm mentally numb

Man prepares to meet his destiny
Rocket engines burning fuel so fast
Up into the night sky so vast"

Well RosAnne you surely guessed the band, the name of the album is "Masters of Reality" the song is titled "Into the Void".

Kicking back this morning listing to Ron Woods "Gimme Some Neck". I really enjoy his version of "Seven Days."

Here is another(Jerry you can't play this hand)

"Life is like the coldest winter
People freeze the tears I cry
Words of hail their minds are into
Ive got to crack this ice and fly"
