Those stairs must be difficult to shovel!
It's been about 25 years since we lived in Lake Tahoe...I don't miss digging out.
Most of our roof's needed to be shoveled also so they didn't collapse. It was so beautiful though!
Maine reminds me of Tahoe, especially around the Bar Harbor area.

I have about the same amount at my house. Pictures never do it justice. It is just a massive amount of white crap. Go here and there is a map of roof collapses. So far, thank god, no one has been injured but lots of property damage.

Yep, Cecil.....we are having the roof collapse problem here as well....we have at least one school closed because they are afraid of the gymnasium roof!

I wish we were going to get rain here.....they are saying "snow, sleet, and freezing rain" for up at our house, 2"-4" :-(:-(:-(. I would take straight rain any day.....heck.....I would take more sn*w over the sleet/freezing rain s***!!!

LaDonna

and Yo Mo....the count down is what is keeping me sane!!!!!

LaDonna, Those pictures bring back childhood memories of winter in the boonies in MA. Our place was at least 1/2 mile back from the county road, and we had to be plowed out after snow storms. As a kid the snow was way too much fun.
Thank goodness this is what I see in the winter now:

LaDonna, spring IS coming, I'm sure.
In the meantime, you can thaw out a bit

Have a great time,

and for Tom,
why do you call the lovely LaDonna "Poot" or, even worse, "Poothead"?
Just curious,
Mare

Mare....I am hoping Spring will "spring" while I'm in Bon.....the only thing worse than Winter???? MUD SEASON!!!! So if I can miss that...I will be a very happy camper.

LaDonna

P.S. Tom calls me "Poothead" cause I give him a hard time....whenever possible....via this board, e-mail, facebook, and in person too!!!

Beautiful pics, LaDonna. I used to do snow, but
I'm out of practice these days. Tahoe is only three hours away, but there are so many drivers with no snow experience on the roads that I can't make myself go.

73 degrees here in NorCal. The trees are starting to bloom...

I have to admit that it is pretty nice here today....so far....mid 40's.....wish it would stay.

I shouldn't complain....I CHOOSE to live here.....moved here from Colorado......and we have the BEST summers......I just have to remember that!!! :-):-):-)

LaDonna

Tom....I am trying to remember which e-mail earned me the nickname.....do you remember????

Actually it looks beautiful, LaDonna. I've spent so little time in the east. Spent sone time in Nova Scotia in the summer and it was magical. But your ocean temp is just as cold as ours!

CB.....I wouldn't know about our ocean temps.....I am a certified "WWW" (warm water wimp) and NEVER get into the ocean here. :-):-):-) I do practically live in the lake in July and Aug....it gets nice and warm in the summer!

Mare, you met the lass, she is a sweety, "Poot" is all in jest. Sometimes I get real mushy, slip up and call her LaD ("Lady") fortunately that doesn't happen much:-)

Poot, er, LaDonna (out of practise on that name), I don't remember when or what you had said that started the whole "Poot" thing.

Hugs to you both. Heck, hugs to you all.

Barbara C.B,is this coming from the same lady that is trying to take Jerry to the dark side by convincing him to wear H.K. hot pants? That just isn't right in so many ways. LOL!!!There is no limit on niceness.

Look away Jerry, just look away.

Saint Louise, are you there? Please keep an eye on Jerry, he is so easily led astray. Remember that whole "I want to be a musician." thing he went through? Good! Well, due to your hard work you were able to straighten him out and teach him the importance of good personal hygiene habits (which he still practices some of the time), we don't want him to relapse.
