No, not on my head, you would have to go back to the 80's (which is better than the 70's for Martin). No, when am I ever going to see any of my lawn???

Here's a shot from two days ago.
Front Lawn

Why this spot, well inside the circle (below) is the top of the sludge tank in the septic system. Always the first spot to melt.
Septic

Right at the moment we have at least 2' of compressed concrete sn0w. We are heading for an all time record for snowfall and just went over 100"s with another storm tomorrow night. OK, the winner will get one virtual drink or a Bright if on-island at the same time. Closest to the correct date wins.

My guess Memorial day, May 28th.

Cecil, to make you feel worse than you do right now, we will be on island May 28th as your snow slides off your property.

NJ winter was annoying this year....all ice/snow combos and always during Monday a.m. commute and Friday a.m./eve commutes. Ugly butt stuff but mostly annoying.

You can have the 2' of cement snow...we had that the winter of 1995/1996....never want to see that again! LOL.

The grass is always greener over the septic tank....notice that? LOL. cb

I am pretty fed up with the snow here too. Our snow banks are quite high, getting just a wee bit dangerous. The kiddos want to go outside too, but it is freezing on top of that! Glad I am not the only one not too happy!

I am tired of the snow but it is pretty. We have a layer of ice over our snow too. Kyle had to shovel a path across the deck to the hot tub last night. He got most of the snow but there was a layer of ice under the snow we had to walk on to get to the hot tub. I am ready for spring.....

Carole, You have to move just a little south...We don't get any snow or ice really? The ocean keeps it all well away from us!
I still have chives from last summer...and the day lillies look like they are starting to sprout?
Cecil did you ever build the pond?

Only in my mind, Meryl. The second Sue caught wind, that project terminated.

Hey there, Meryl! If I move "south" again it will be all the way to Bonaire! LOL. We can't afford a place near the water in NJ...actually, we can't afford to buy a place anywhere in NJ! LOL.

It just started snowing again here in Morristown...no ice combo this time. Straight snow so that's better....IF we have to have frozen stuff coming from out of the sky "snow" is better than freezing rain and ice any day.

Wanna rent out a room to us, Meryl! LOL. Two more cats to add the gang at your place. cb

Jerry, I am so ready for the heat wave, yes 40's qualify as that, here anyway. Teddy is outside shoveling. I should not complain since I am sitting warm inside relaxing w/ BT :-) I shoud say relatively warm inside since I lower the heat due to oil prices.

My best friend keeps his house at 62, last oil fill was $795.00. Glad I have a small house, and gas.
