Well all things considered, it was not that bad. I think I got in before it turned to crap. Not the commute was not terminal but the sn0w removal early this morning left a lot to be desired. Heavy, soaked, soon to be concrete, mashed potato, sn0w. The poor blower has a hard enough time moving this crap but it also needed to blow it 6' in the air to get over the canyon walls. There are a few places where it blows it up and it comes right back down on the engine. It I did not move it the stupid thing would buried itself.

Cecil, omg, that puppy is soooo cute!

It's supposed to be in the 80s today. Last night the sunset was amazing...could see Catalina and San Clemente islands!

It's absolutely GORGEOUS here. We had our oatmeal on the patio.
BUT, now I'm at work where there are no windows and the building is still cold. Poor, poor me :-(

Seriously, it's unfriggin' believable out there. Clear enough to see the crevices and land structures on the Channel Islands. I wish I could catch the sunset tonight but I'm going to do my first foray into local politics. There's a meeting about what to change in our neighborhood.... grrrrr....

Jerry, we're gonna hit 32-34 here tonite!! Right now it's 51 and very windy...I hid my flip-flops so they wouldn't see me putting on my Reeboks.:-(
When this front came thru last nite I couldn't believe the wind, rain and lightening! Tornado warnings! I was stuck downtown 'til the worst of it passed.
Wonder if Tom's planning on ice-sculpture with the kids today, at the beach?

I'm hungry :-) Any more donuts?

So, I had a few friends over for apps & wine last night.... my dang oven died half way through my "pies de resistance".
Focaccia brushed with olive oil, topped with a cheese mixture (goat, parm, cream), topped with a sweet onion marmalade (orange lemon and lime juice with tarragon), topped with asparagus.
I was so proud of that one but noooooooo!!!!
Tomorrow I have to go home early to meet the Gas company to see if they can get the pilot to relight :-(

It rolled off the table
And onto the floor
Then somebody kicked it
Right out of the door

And under a bush,
And then my poor meatball,
Was nothing but mush.
