Hi all, I hope you all had a great weekend. Warm and sunny here today, rained last night and it turned snow to ice and the ice that was around is as slick as if someone had polished it.

Busy doing some "rush" repairs for people that dropped their o-ring sets off, what a mess they are too. Seems like the whole family dove for a week in salt water, never rinsing their SCUBA kits then, after they finished diving they packed them, yup still wet. Reg bags even had mold in them. My friends, I beg of you to please take care of your dive gear it is your life support. If you don't know how, ask at your L.D.S.. Rant-off.

Hmmm, I hope we will be ok as we left our gear in Bonaire last October. It rained like hell the last few days and we were shocked to find our gear did not dry overnight and was still soaking the next morning (our departure day). Luckily that day it was back to normal - a hot Caribbean sunny day and when we left in the afternoon I think every thing was dry.

Thanks for the reminder on the dive gear; Rob is always yelling at me to make sure I rinse after each dive. We also rinse well when we get home too. Salt water is h*ll on the dive gear!!!

I am off today for President's Day. I had to get my car inspected, $188.00, got my tux for a function I have to go to on March 7th, $101.00, filled my car up with gas $41.00, came home had lunch with Kathi (leftovers from our favorite Italian restaurant around here)Veal Scarpiella and linguini with olive oil and garlic and a side of Spadini along with a bottle of Pinot Grigio (Priceless).

I'm back from the endodontist and in shock. He didn't do a root canal! He thinks my dentist is an idiot, and my allergy doc needs to listen to me. He says it was my sinuses, not my tooth, and after 10 days on antibiotics my tooth is FINE. He didn't want to drill through a bridge (yep, missing one on the bottom so there's a bridge over that tooth), and risk messing it up (at 2k to replace), and he sent me home. Shock, but hey, I got a free Monday.

I think my head is wired weird. Sinus things make my teeth hurt like an abcess. When the sinus infection clears, everything is back to normal.

Btw, I have a deviated septum and could get a free nose job. lol I kinda like my ski slope nose, though.

OK, back out on the lanai for me. It's 83 now, and there are 20 mph gusts at times, but kids are in the community pool and the lake is full of fishermen. Nice. One poor guy fell out of his boat trying to get it in the water at the ramp. Felt sorry for him!

OH and Tom, Larry drives me CRAZAZY with how thorough he is with washing our gear. But I know he's right. My BC and fins are getting OLD and he keeps telling me I need to get new ones. But they don't make new ones in hot pink! He says I have to get new ones before Bonaire. wah Maybe I'll pay a visit to Ebay...or write all the manufacturers of fins and BC's to bring back the pink!

Kathy, happy to read that your on the mend and didn't need a root canal afterall. Mr right hand man for years visited the dentists offices several times only to find out it was sinuses.

Larry, WAY TO GO MAN!!! One of the reasons I was agitated earlier (all better just did their invoices) was that two of the regulator systems were only a year old. As the family does maybe 15 a year, they should have only needed minor adjustments - if anything at all. Oh well I have two kids left to put through college.........
