Well....it's Monday and the points "countdown" begins again today! I PRAY for success for myself as well as everyone else. Right now I am suffering the results on a multitude of levels of overdoing with a little chocolate covered cookies and Cheerios snack mix last night..I didn't even drink alcohol, but I FEEL like I did...

This is what I want for all of us...happiness at the scale..and health!!
Smile!!

I'm just glad we are all bad together! I went too long yesterday w/out eating, then I ate TOO much! But there was salad involved...does that count? I have 3 days til I go to Bonaire, I think I'm just gonna have to try to be good there and resume when I get back. My goal was for July of this year...there's still time!:-)

Last week was not a good diet week for me :-( But I did get to walk on the beach early evenings & did 7 miles on Saturday - does that count?
It's back on track today - lite yogurt & salad for lunch w/chicken & lean steak w/brown rice & veggies for dinner.
Let's GO dieters!

Glad others indulged a bit yesterday. My sinful indulgence was a piece of oatmeal, pecan, chocolate, caramel "bar" that one of the nurses brought to the party. The household that the party took place in has two BIG labs. Bosco and Chipper. Bosco is notorious for making off with the main course. He can easily snag something off the table or kitchen counter. So that's why I put my chicken fingers in the center of the table all the way to the wall.
This party was no different than any other sports party at Gene & Barbs. Bosco and Chipper pulled down the chocoalte/peanutbutter brownies and ate 1/4th of them before we could pull them off. And that was quite a job - Bosco weighing in at 95 lbs and me at 125 (I got a mini cardio workout, too)
Next - while we were all distracted and outside on the patio, down goes the glass bowl with chips. I know - A glass bowl? Glass shards and chips everywhere and the dogs were scarfing down everything on the floor. They were then banished to the patio and the mess promptly cleaned up.
Never a dull moment at that household.
Linda

Yup, this past week-end, I had my DIL's baby shower and with all the good food we had there, I couldn't say No to the cake while she was opening up presents. It was good, but back in the saddle today. Still maintained my weight, but no loss.

Roy, congrats on your loss of 11 pounds! :-)

Going to Bonaire soon, so will just have to enjoy life a little bit there and not worry so much on the weight thingie till I get back. Will try to watch the portions and well, I figure with diving, walking on island, I may be able to maintain while there. Will be glad to be in the sun and not the cold, damp weather we got going on here. :-)

PegiSue & Debbie... :-) :-) :-) Bonaire Bound Beauties!!!!

Judy, calories don't count when you're out of town. Remember!!!

I'm giving myself a HUGE pat on the back today (and Roy a huge thanks for being inside my head!). I got right on the treadmill first thing and did 5 miles (slow but steady) and burned 764 calories/233 fat calories over 60 mins!!!! At 37 mins I was trying to talk myself into stopping - "I've done more than before it's not bad if I stop.." - but I decided just go 3 more mins to get to 40, then I heard Roy talking about his 60 min & 90 min workouts :-) :-) So I gave it 5 mins, then another 5 mins - whaddya know I was at 50 mins!!! At that point I was too close to 5 miles to stop short.
And now already today.... I've accomplished a big milestone. Imagine what the rest of the day holds for me!!!!

Tonight is my first Monday of the Month EMT with my walking girls but I'll be good.

Both Guy and I didn't sleep well after eating so poorly yesterday - won't be doing that again any time soon!

It's shaping up to be a very busy day today - thankfully I've got to go in and box up quite a few orders :-)

Have a GREAT day everyone!

Today is do over day for me :-) Salads and Medifast soup for this chickie for a while. Less than 100 days till BON so it's do or die!

Boom, awesome workout....You ROCK!
Roy, you always make me smile and I'm inspired by your enthusiasm!

Judy, 7 miles?!?! Holy goodness woman! You're bionic :-)

New pup is keeping this fat chick hopping but don't think I'm losing weight just sanity!

Linda :-) Are Bosco & Chipper in the diet club too?

Boom - BIG pat on the back for you :-) That's quite an accomplishment! Enjoy your time with your walking girls :-)

Kobi - pups will certainly keep you hopping! You're doing good by just being here :-)
Roy - you ARE in inspiration!

Today still wasn't so good. I let not feeling all that well this morning cause me to pamper myself... Tomorrow..I mean it!

Hang in there Donna- it will get better :-)
LOL!! 2 of my walking girls are doing weight watchers - we all behaved very well. I had steak bites with a side of steamed veggies (my usual) and of course Kettle One on the rocks with a lime (you only need 1 at Harry's!).

Gym tomorrow and then one of the girls and I are going to a luncheon/benefit for Girls Inc. We're sort of scouting it out to see if our group should/can do a fundraiser for it. We're thinking we might hold a dance or dinner for a good cause. Next year will be our 10 year anniversary since meeting and doing the Avon 3 Day Walk, so we want to do something in commemoration of it. :-) :-)

Any rate, I've got one more month to reconcile and then today will really be a day of accomplishments!

I'll probably not be back until Wednesday so everyone enjoy your Tuesday.
Remember; it's not a dress rehearsal!!!

Hugs,
T

Hehe Tara, lots of BIG (but gentle)pats on your back from me too, achhh what the heck a GREAT BIG HUG too
HUGGY HUGGY Hoooooo!!!

Well done and it makes me feel good that I've helped so much. I had to take a day off as I had a slighty strained muscle in my right butt cheek after the 2 hour session on Sunday, so no more of them !!!!, back to 60mins then continue till 500cals shows (about 70mins)

Hang on in there the rest of Y'all :-):-) Kobi, Pegi-Sue, Judy, Debbie, Donna, Eileen, Linda ....:-)
