Welcome ladies. Always a pleasure to see you. I'm enjoying my usual Stoli and tonic. I hope your Saturdays were good. Mine was fine. As we speak, I'm getting ready to lay out all my camera gear to get organized for packing.

Hurry back Kobi! Low on liquor on saturday night? Shocking! I always hide a bottle from myself just for such an emergency.

I'm starting to get a little tingly myself about my upcoming trip.

Sheeesh... I guess my idea of a Costco pizza and beer for the game tomorrow wasn't an original idea. Trader Joe's was crazy but that's to be expected.
Off to pour myself a bit of Kettle One with a squeeze of lime.... grab a pinch of that salmon.
I've got turkey roll-ups laid out for the taking.

Late check in for me...hi, guys!

I get a Birthday Weekend this year, I guess. We went for organic Thai food last night, just a fabulous place. I'm sorry they don't have a web site..I'd post their menu. Stopped for pineapple sherbet on the way home...my favorite. We had lunch for breakfast today, then went to see "No Country for Old Men"...really good, but DARK.

Tomorrow we have time for the gym, even though I hate being the fat chick in the back row at cardio, and then, god help me, the superbowl, which Eric lives for and which bores me silly. Quid pro quo, you know, makes the relationship go round...

Oh, and on Monday RosAnne and I are FINALLY going to have lunch, barring the unforseen. We've had bad luck getting together lately...

That's it for me. Thanks for hanging in with me, Boom. I'll put the dishes away and I'll leave the booze out in case someone comes by for a night-cap.

Bueno sera, mi amici

Hi, Boom & Kiwi! The CBBC thing has been my private giggle for a bit now....happyto share it with you.

Last night, we had a bottle of Bon Chance '03 Savignon Blanc(sp?) that was so good. It actually had a little bit of pineapple overtone in there somewhere (I'm sure Jerry would sneer!). Tonight we're going to have something red to go with the red sauce something I'll be making.

I'm having trouble typing...since the kitties all got better, they've been sticking pretty close to me and I have a big fuzzy black one in my lap at the moment.

well I am going to be pathethic with you Kobs... it is time for us Right coasters to get to bed... Where is AK Dan and why hasn't he been tucking us in lately??? oh dear.. I had a show tonight and now I am tired as well... I'll see everyone tomorrow after swim lessons for Matthew.. he gets his 2 ribbon for swim lessons tomorrow and is already almost done with his 3rd part..{he is 4} he treaded water today for 30 seconds.. he is a sinker no fat on that boy at all all muscle..so the 30 sec is great.. he can swim the crawl the entire length of the pool and back and it is a long pool..puts his face in the water for the count of 4 strokes and up and over for the count of two he does a roll and then down for 4 again.. pretty cool.. I learned to swim like most of the other kids on LI.. you went in the water and just did it..and perhaps took a certified swim lesson for a year or two in the summer for a week.. matthew has been going weekly for 6 months now and he is really picking it up...Now if he can just get past the salt water we will be somewhere!!
