Well...we got more snow. :-(

Yesterday Today

Wes is outside shoveling so that we can try to go to breakfast. If I have time, I will go take pictures at Tekakwitha Woods later this afternoon.

Hope you all had a good evening.

Moderators I really think it is time to disallow the sn0w word, this is a family board and cuss words should not be allowed.

Cecil, I agree, NO MORE MENTIONING THE WORD ****!!!

Jeanine, I hope you enjoy your breakfast. I just finished cleaning up our breakfast dishes and have been watching the blizzard outside. Pamela refilled and cleaned off the birdfeeders last evening and there is already about 6" of new **** on top of them - JOY!!!

I'm with you guys...no more ****! Wes finished half the driveway so we went to breakfast. Now he has to finish the other half. We keep saying we will buy a ****blower, but every year we don't. Not good for him. :-( Ok...off to grade some finals.

How about some pics from you guys who got more **** than me.

Our **** is blowing all over the place! The wind is crazy today. Kyle has to go to work and push carts for the next 7 hours in this weather. He worked 7 hours yesterday too. It was all snow, rain and slush yesterday. We are picking him up from work tonight and taking the kids around town to look at Christmas lights. We always get coffee or hot chocolate and go for a long drive. They are both on Christmas break from school now. I wish I was on a work break until January!

I finally got up another Christmas tree yesterday. I put up the one with all the stuff the kids have made over the years. That is my favorite and now it feels more like Christmas. Stay warm everyone!

Jeanine, thanks for the pictures...more please so I get my virtual **** fix:-)

We drove to San Diego last night and hooked up with my BFFs from high school (my camping girlfriends). Four crazy women, and just Michael and my friend Reesa's hubby Mike...poor guys...they had their hands full. We laughed so hard. Mike (my friends hubby) packages products for customers, and our gift this year was anit-nausea drinks for morning sickness, and "belly rub" for stretch marks. We decided we were going to use the anit-nausea for hangovers, and the "belly rub" for our wrinkles...lol!

We drove to Point Loma, where there is a street that goes all out with Christmas lights. I was like a kid in the candy store and had to get out. Reesa and Michael went with me, and well, it's just undescribable. We were laughing at the houses with no lights, they probably hate this time of year...one house had disney annimated Christmas characters in every bay window...and the amount of lights was just unbelievable.

Our trees been up for a week, but no decorations yet, that's what I'm doing today:-)

Snow, howling winds, freezing rain? Yikes!

We're back to sweatshirt weather here in NorCal, with a slight chance of showers.

Happy Sunday, gang. We're off to get some sun before the football game starts(I'm "letting" Eric watch...).

Flipflopflogging in order.

We went through a period of sleet this afternoon then the **** returned with a vengeance. The wind is howling outside and visibility is less than a quarter of a mile.

The fireplace has been a blessing but, the hot tub is calling.

I hope all in this storm's path remain safe. It is only 4 pm here and I think this might be a long night. Cya.

Happy Sunday Evening All!!!!
My gosh, it's been a.... well, a last few days....
Our Friday night yacht club party ended up costing us an extra $41 for a dang parking ticket; it's my bad for parking the car in a no Overnight Parking Zone, even though I pay for an annual parking sticker (wrong zone :-( ):-( Still better than driving after drinking!!! And, because we were already calling/taking a taxi, we convinced another couple to join us :-) Another driver who had been drinking, taken off the road!!! :-)

We went to a concert tonight - very small venue and we had front row seats :-) The group is called Venice. Cynde & Michael met us in Solana Beach a while back to see them in an alter-version of themselves --- are you confused yet???? Any rate, they do an annual Christmas tour and they are AMAZING!!! They are the brothers and cousins of the Lennon Sisters.... I called Cynde twice ~ hopefully you could hear them mi' amiga!! It was just a GREAT concert!!!! I mean awesome!!!
You can hear them here Venice the band

Okay, I haven't been on since my early morning hangover Saturday.... life is getting in the way. Thanks Patrick for checking in with me. We were right in the middle of a meeting when you called, but I got your message and smiled :-)
I need to catch up on some of these threads!!!!

Jim, we received a total of 15" and school is only delayed 2 hours. As LaDonna said your boy should be fine.

Tara, a minor ticket sure beats fines, increased insurance and possible accident. Proud of you two.

Off to clear driveways. Be well all

It's 41 out on our "lanai" but there is not a cloud in the sky. It'll warm up some today and NOT be humid! My hair is happy!:-)
Time to go pray to the retail Gods, as they were VERY good to me yesterday!!:-)

Boom, LOl...the first time you called I was like WTF? then remembered and listned on my NEW PHONE with a smile...then the second song was great too...thanks buddy for making me smile:-)

Timmy, I almost had to turn on the AC yesterday as well, but didn't.

The BEST NEWS is that we went for a walk last night to look at lights and test "the back" and it didn't hurt! I know it may not sound like much, but that is the one thing I have not been able to do since July without extreme pain...so I was extremely excited...the shots are working:-)
