I don't usually work on Saturday but I did go in for 3 hours of catchup work this AM. 1 hour each way commute to work 3 hrs. Not logical - but was needed. I am glad to be home.

Bob arrived today :-) We are talking about what he'd like to do while here in Maine. He keeps eyeing my dogs and drools alot. Don't tell him I said so but I have to say; he's a little scarey :-) I can see why his many hosts and hostesses do not encourage him to visit for long.

Jerry, Yes I do :-)

and all set on the mail. I'll entertain Bob over the weekend, get some appropriate pictures to post and send him on his way. He really could use a bath but I wouldn't want to risk any running of his many tats. He is certainly wearing alot of little momentos too !

Jerry - It would be good to get together some time. My husband works mostly in the Wells area, he is a paintng contractor. We are originally from Lowell and have relatives in North Andover, Methuen, Dracut, etc.. So we are down by you often.

Patrick - he has stains everywhere, and a bad case of ring around the collar. I am waiting for family to come home and meet this character. We will party with him tomorrow. He mumbles alot and makes my kitties hiss when he sniffs at them.

Hummmmm, can I make it to Vira's in time for dinner? Lasagna w/white sauce - sounds intriging!

Denise - Have fun with Bob! (That's kinda like an oxymoron isn't it?)

Cynde - Stay positive that Thanksgiving will will work out to be a civilized gathering of adults that love Sarah and Dylon, and Sarah's new crew, and can be grown up enough to share the grandkids! (But keep that box wine in the car just in case!) I really wish Kira's father had a little more to do with her. He's supposed to have her for Thanksgiving, but there's been no call yet. She needs to grow up knowing her Jamaican heritage too - but I ain't about to be the one to teach her! If left up to me, she'll be a little brown German-English girl!

Alex is as resiliant as a rubber ball. Thanks for asking. Once the pain was controlled, she thought she should proceed as normal - Jump! Bounce! Hop! Run! She's actually putting crayons in her right fingers and drawing with the cast on. Kids are the most amazing of God's creatures!

I did go out and cut the grass - It was mostly to mulch up the leaves, but we have a couple coming for Thanksgiving dinner that we've never met, so I wanted the yard spruced up. (Friends of the kids w/ no family to go to - I collect strays for holidays!)

Gail, they are resiliant aren't they:-) It's too bad that Kira's father doesn't spend much time with her, but she has you and John, and those are the memories she will cherrish.

When my grandmother was alive, she was the stray collector queen. We always brought our friends who had no place to go for holidays. And at our house, strays are always welcome too:-) lol! I guess that's why when Sarah was growing up, our house was the house that had all the kids in it:-)

Dick and Grace just dropped Angel off. She'll have to go to the vets/kennel for two nights when we leave...and she will HATE that...shots will be given too....breaks my heart that she has to go there:-(
