Congratulations! I'm a Golden breeder and I know how much time, work and dedication you must put into your Champion. Does he do any hunting? any titles?

Oh, Bev, he's gorgeous. I have a big soft spot for labs. They are such nice dogs, so loving, and just a little bit naughty, which I get a kick out of.

Wow, I love those block heads. We've got a 10 year old retired yellow Lab, Duke and our son has the champion hunter/retriever soon to be 3 year old yellow names Tyler. Aren't they just the best.

This one was taken two weeks ago of Tyler.http://margeka.smugmug.com/photos/188482395-M.jpg This one from last week-end of Tylerhttp://margeka.smugmug.com/photos/188225667-M.jpg .This one in the back yard of him diving.http://margeka.smugmug.com/photos/147594085-M.jpg The Retiree, Duke on his last hunt. Arthritis got the best of him. He's just too sore after a run/hunt, now so he's carpet bound.

Marge, wonderful pictures. Tyler is gorgeous. I love that diving shot...wow! Is that your backyard????? And duke is a wonderful beautiful old soul:-)

Bev, looking at your last pic reminded me of a black lab I had in my early 20s...Daniel...she would sleep on the bed with me (as all my dogs have done..lol) and she had her own pillow that she would rest her head on. I had to keep things off the coffee table because when she would wag her tail...well, she dusted the coffee table and everything on it would end up on the floor...if we didn't have weiner dogs, we would have a lab or a retriever...

Oh, and Bev, we bread all of our doxies from Wave Crest Dachshunds. They are in Orange County. They have several champions. In fact, one of theirs is on the food label for a canned dog food (need more coffee to remember the name now)

Yes, we live in Algonac MI and spend a lot of time in the water, as do both dogs. We taught them to climb ladders as puppies, so when they get hot they take a dip.http://margeka.smugmug.com/photos/188225645-M.jpg
