Is it against the law to clamp off peoples feeding tubes?

Welcome to Louise & Jerry's B&B.

How can people eat like that? They would eat as long as I kept cooking. At 10.00 last night I closed the kitchen. My a$$ is dragging.......

Becky, Louise's Bro is a cool dude, the rest are hill-billy's

I have BOB on today, as I feel one with him as long as the TRIBE are here.

If you want to take part in "BOB ACROSS AMERICA",
please email me your name and address, you might just get BOB for a few days.

Jerry, I would love to be included but the wearing deal would not work out for me. Maybe a little honey wearing it would also work. What do you think.

Dr. Kavorkian, yes, I think there's a law against this! But, as they are not on death's bed, maybe not...

BOB across AMERICA! I'm in! I'll get my daughter to wear it for you Patrick!!! She's pretty cute... Of course, she looks like me!!

I got the 27" w/ black sails.

Well looks to me to only be a 1/2 a Bob shirt....not covering up the same amount but, then again Bob is 100% out there and Jerry about 50% so I guess it works out. As for the tribe I feel for you man....you could always walk in while one of them is taking shower and say you thought it was Louise....stuff like that seems to make folks be ready to go home.

How about for dinner a few nights in a row...fix up enough you have leftovers for the next day.

1/2 up some hot dogs and fry them up
pork and beans (mildly warm)
turnip greens (straight out of the can)
Kool-aid with extra extra sugar
and for desert some X-mas fruit cake.

I have a fruit cake that is over 10 years old! You can have it! Now, there is a reason I have this fruit cake. Everytime anyone moves I give it to them as a house-warming present (as a joke), first it was just to get rid of it, then it started getting passed around & ended up back to me. I've moved alot, and always get it back. Someone, ANYONE, please move, I have a lovely present for you....

Pegi Sue, if it's only 10 years old, it's still good!

He((, Twinkies have a 29 year shelf life.

I do have a serious question though. For my wine conosuer(sp?) BT friends. I am GOING TO MAKE a "mushroom sauce" to have w/ steaks cooked on the grill for G's B-Day. He loved the sauce at Donna & Georgio's. This is what I am attempting to make. I realize it won't even be close... I have a recipe that calls for a dry red wine or Madeira. I have Pepperwood Grove Cabernet Sauvignon 2003/California. Help.

Peggy, here is Jerry's wonderful Mushroom Sauce Recipe

quote:

By Jerry Gauron (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #621) on Friday, May 12, 2006 - 2:24 pm:
TRUFFEL AND DEMIGLACE SAUCE.

Serves four. Add or subtract as needed.

Ingredients.

1/2 cup dried morel mushrooms. (Dried)
Two cups of Veal reduction stock. Can sub Demi-glace from store bought. (low sodium)
One tea-spoon butter at room temp.
One cup of sliced mixed mushrooms. Add some truffles if you happen to have any hanging around!
A tad of flower if needed to thicken?
One Bot of good wine. (red)

Night before.

Add the dry morels to a cup of water, cover and set aside at room temp.
Start your veal stock if making your own. If not, have a glass of wine and put on a Tony Bennett CD.

Putting the sauce together.

Put on a good CD.
Remove the morels from water, pat dry, set aside water, we will use it later.
Slice the morels, not chop.
In a sauce pan at low / med gas heat, add the veal stock, let simmer. No boiling.
Add the mixed mushrooms and morels to a small fry pan, add some unsalted butter and simmer over med heat, stir as needed until browned. When tender, remove from heat and add to the reduction souse, stir as needed.
Add a tad of the morel water to thin out the sauce. The water is packed with mushroom flavors. Have a glass of wine.

Allow the sauce to simmer until it thickens to suit your taste. If it still seems a bit thin, add a very small amount of flower and stir as you add the flower, let sit, add more if needed. If to thick, add a splash of the morel water.

When ready to serve, add the 1tsp of butter, stir in until melted and the sauce takes on a smooth consistency.

Serve with what ever!

Have fun!

That mushroom sauce sounds amazing!!

Pegi, let us know how your turns out.

Time to get ready for the Chris Daughtry concert tonight. Did anyone like him when he was on American Idol? I loved him and can't wait to see him. Ashley is mad cause Ken could only get two tickets. I don't see the problem.

Have a great night everyone.

The sauce will be good. I'm makin' a practice one tomorrow. Saturday will be the real deal. Right now I'm making Split Pea soup. It smells fabulous! Another of G's faves. It's Birthday Festival Week!:-)

Enjoy and let us know how it turned out - no pictures necessary. SNORT
