I have no problem with any animal, but I'm not a fan of irresponsible Pit Bull owners. We have a lot of them down in the DC area.

I agree about the irresponsible Pit Bull owners.

I have a neice who has 4 Rottweilers. When I mention that to people they ask me if she's crazy. I say "No, They're great dogs." She has them certified as assist dogs for the elderly. She's a director for a nursing home and the dogs go there with harnesses on and assist people with standing up and being mobile.

It's not the breed of dog - it's the owners.

It is a nice tribute and I agree - having owned a 2 pit bulls, 2 Rotties, and an American Bulldog I can't agree more - it's the owners!!! I loved all of my dogs but I REALLY loved my biggest Rottie and my American Bulldog. Sweet, sweet, sweet babies.

Funny thing about the 4 Rotties - my 13 inch petite beagle keeps them in line when they play together!! They're scared to death of her!

They are nice dogs.
