I'm not sure if any of you have heard about Sheryl Crow's solution to Global Warming...it's to just use "one square" when you use the restroom.

well, i'm not sure and i suspect the article does not address this issue but when considering human waste as an alternative energy source the costs of distilling the waste from the excessive "squares" might be prohibitive...

or something...

Hey, I will be seeing Sheryl Crow in July and I will let her know your ideas.

Ken and Kyle got to meet her. Ken's store sponsored her tour so they got to be a part of everything. They sat with her and the crew while they did the meet and greet. He said she is really pretty cool to sit and talk to. I was so jealous cause Ashley and I had cheer practice so we didn't get to meet her. But we did go to the concert which was awesome. They recorded her C'mon America 2003 DVD in Kettering, Ohio at The Fraze Pavilion so of course we had to buy a copy so the kids would remember being there. Oh how I miss Ken having that job.......

Now back on topic....

Now she said that was a "joke"!

I LOVE Cheryl Crow. Won tickets to see her at the Oak Mountain Ampitheater in, who knows...90's. Front row, and she sang her "then" anthem, Are You Strong Enough to Be My Man. Still, one of my anthems, but I Love "Soak up the Sun"!

That was a good anthem then, because I was dealing with Larry's situation with his kids and his ex, and how it was taking all our money and time and most of his emotions in court and depositions, and did I mention money?, and how this man longed for his kids, and how it left me partially on my own besides helping him thru his tough time, then after a court order finally I got to meet his 4 kids for a whole summer and feed them when they didn't know what meat was, and dang it was a tough time but a fun time. But I needed to hear that song that night. I stood by him, and he's stood by me, but that anthem taught him a thing or two, and me too, about how much I can take on and when it becomes time for ME and how I feel. If nobody's there, there's still a song about it.

Sheryl Crow found me on the front row that night at the ampitheater, since I sprang up and was totally in the groove on that song, and sang and had fun with me on that song. I'll never forget it. Still an anthem for me.

We've come a long way, baby.

Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite. :-)

6 cigs today. Can't tell you how many times I lit them, though. I was not good, but I was, afterall, in the end.

Kathy, isn't it funny how a lot of us use music to get us through tough times. We hear that one song and it makes it all better. My cousin says he wants to make music that heals peoples souls. I think that would be a good thing.

Kathy, where did she say it was a joke? on her blog (second link) she says:

quote:

I propose a limitation be put on how many sqares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting. Now, I don't want to rob any law-abiding American of his or her God-given rights, but I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required.

I love Sheryl, but this one square was too much ;-)

That Seinfeld episode is one of my favorites, can you spare a square?
